New diode has came!

We got new multi-mode 405nm diodes with very low divergence and power, tested around 1.6W with G2 lens. 11mm dot at around 10 meters.

It's unknown how would it affect the diode lifespan at 1.6w so we listed a 1.2W version only at this moment.

Any other info about diodes? Price, brand?

New diodes are always a good thing. If their stable at 1.4-1.6 that's a real good thing.

Possibly it’s Nichia NDV7375 rated at 1,2w, look datasheet. eBay search didn’t get any results. Still need more data about them.

Not much info about it but it is a 5.6mm diode, we will push one to its limit, a lpm test will be release later.:na:

It's a hitachi diode, HL40053MG.

G7 Power test & laser dot compare to a 1.6w 445nm laser:

When I search that part # I get an ushio diode (https://rpmclasers.com/wp-content/uploads/products/HL40053MG.pdf). The data sheet says half a watt. Raw divergence 13 x 42 degrees. They also make a 1 watt version though.....

So it’s just a little worse than a 16x single mode, Very decent for a multi mode 405 yes, can I ask your price for just a diode!

It's safe to say the new 405nm diode is able to ingite matches from 30ft away, just takes a little bit more time than our single mode 900mw 405nm model.

500mw 405nm is also added for pocket series :yh:
