FS: Sanwu Laser store - RGB handheld lasers, 405nm,445nm,465nm,470nm,505nm,515nm,520nm,525nm,635nm,650nm

Re: FS: Sanwu Laser store - R/G/B handhelds x3 BE & Stainless steel "The Spiker" rele

It’s all good if you prefer a greenish tint, I will be selling my 488 because I so much prefer the 477 wavelength. So much more appealing in my opinion, It’s already spoken for!

495 will be so close to the 502s we’re seing and I so much prefer sky blue, Actually 480 would be my favourite!

As you can see the 505 diode in my signiture is in no rush for a host!

Agreed, 488 is greenish and 480 is much nicer... but... 485 is just out of the green tint range, if you ask me its far nicer than 480. I plan on moving it to a pen and toning down the power a bit too make it 483-484... that would be ideal.

Plus I have two gaps in ny collection to fill with these upcoming diodes. 495 and 488 (the argon is just too bulky)

Keep us informed podo! Really hoping for a 495 more than anything else

I know this is not in line with the current discussion, but I just wanted to say how much I like the G7 lens, I have found them useful in many cases. :beer:

Remember the thread a while back that brought up some issue's as far as threading differences and focus issue's with the 7mm and 9mm barrels on the G7's when using Dtr's modules..
Red did you try both?

I use both the Sanwu G2 and G7 in the 7mm long M9 x 0.5 threaded barrel and the 9mm long barrel with no problem, I even use the 3X Beam Expander in conjunction with them and I like the 7mm long barrel G7 on my 405nm lasers.

Now there seems to be a wider barrel used on some Sanwu hosts, I have 1 G7 in a barrel that is wider than 9mm, I think it was mistakenly sent to me in a lens order, I assume it's for a Sanwu host, maybe the Spiker because I have read that the BE adaptor has to be the Spiker specific adaptor, so I think it's lens barrel is a little wider than 9mm.

G2 = 95% power transmission but has a short FL and a wide spot in the far field. Note: G2 is the best for cnc ( short distance work )
G7 = 88% power transmission and has a long FL and a tighter spot in the far field.
3 ele = 70% power transmission and has a tighter spot in the far field.

The G2 and G7 are both single element lenses.
G2 = 2.39mm rear FL
G7 = 7mm ? rear FL
3 ele = 5.7mm IIRC FL and is a 3 element lens.

I get a little more burning power using the G7 in place of 3 elements in conjunction with the 3X BE but I use a G2 when I employ the 6X cylindrical pair in conjunction with the 3X BE, it's the best set up but more involved.

I'm in for a 495nm if it's truly 495nm.

Hi Podo, firstly, damn you make great lasers!

Now to why I'm writing, would it be possible to get a 5mW 520nm pocket, or even a multimode 50mW with 5mW option?

Here's a little peek:

495 test.jpg
495 test 2.jpg

They do look like 488nm-490nm(not 495nm:() similiar to those two diodes tested on the 495nm thread.

Ah thats a bit of a letdown with the 495s. I'll wait for the 488nm diode main release then, let someone else enjoy one of these four a bit early

Is confirmed that they will be released and price would be reasonable?

Re: FS: Sanwu Laser store - R/G/B handhelds x3 BE & Stainless steel "The Spiker" rele

They will be yes. Don't have a date or price other than "soon" and "a lot less than the osram plt5-488s" (which can be had for 500 ish) unfortunately. I've been told soon for a while now without really hearing anything else.

Soon could mean a few more days, a few more weeks, a few more months, or late next year. Soon isn't really all that specific, which is tough to come to terms with when you're anxiously waiting

How much are you asking for them?

Re: FS: Sanwu Laser store - R/G/B handhelds x3 BE & Stainless steel "The Spiker" rele

Due to the very limited supply, they are not for sale yet unfortunately. Here is a finished build with pocket series.
