I got a few different hosts a bit ago. I bought out my source's supply of blue hot lights, and he sent me some new hosts in exchange....
This is one of the hosts he sent me. Still "Hotlights" brand. The flashlights components all fed in from the top. The heatsink is made to press fit into the top of the host.

I made a heatsink which extends from the body. It's made to fit a single 18650/2xCR123,2xCR2 you get the point.

Kit comes with FP silicone leads, thermal adhesive, host, heat sink, holster, hex wrench.

$25 shipped in the USA
reduced to $20
INTL shipping is $5 first-class no tracking.

The heatsink looks like its anodized gold :D
Can you post a picture of the front without the heatsink?
It's just the camera, the sink is the same as any other aluminum sink.

I'll take some pictures of the host itself with the sink out of it.

After seeing this host i think i might use this to build a 12x 405, instead of buying the green host you have for a greenie build. I'm trying to figure out how this build would work because I don't see a pill in the host. Would the driver fit up into the host since its so long?

The bottom side of the heatsink is opened up to allow room for the 18650 battery.

The easiest way I can think of is to use an 18650 battery.
a 12x diode in an Aixiz module with the flex driver solder directly onto the diode, made case-negative.
Screw the back end of the module on, and have the positive lead come out the back.
Then mount a nylon washer with a spring on top of it on the back of the module.

the nylon washer seperates the positive spring and he negative module.
Then just stick the module in the heat sink and tighten it down.....

OH i found this in my album too, this would work good....

price bump btw.

Yes but in order for the flexdrive capacitor to work, there would need to be another wire from the case to the negative driver output. Or am I wrong?

With the flexdrive you can just bridge the case pin with the negative pin or you could run the case pin back to the driver negative input. The second method would be your only option with a microboost driver.

Moh looks good. I think you need a review.

I am sol loving this look. I need to get home for paypal.

Yup just as DTR said, you just bend the case pin down and bridge it to the negative pin.
I may of DTR, but I only have like 10 of these things and don't plan on getting any more.

Did you notice my red build? It's a one-of-a-kind :D
The tactical crown spins to focus the laser.

So where do I send paypal? :)
Or invoice me at ********************.net
for 1.

Was it in that slim MXDL host you showed me? If so I did not see the final build.:D

I like that idea! It would be good for a 12X... -Glenn

how many of those new host do you have left?
also do you sell the red tactical host in your picture and the
trustfire host?

Forgot to ask, does this new host fit a 22600 perfectly like the old Blue hotlights?
