FS: Custom machined laser hosts

Copper is oh so nice, but 25mm is very small to me. Maybe larger would just be too heavy anyway, but I like to run 26650 batteries on high currents which I'd want the copper for. I asked about some of Sinners old copper hosts, but damn, can't get the host without it being a completed laser pointer for for roughly 500 bucks, ouch. That said, I wouldn't want to build and sell them for that made out of copper, but if I am going to pay that much, I want a beam expander on it and there are no matching beam expanders made out of copper for those hosts.

Hi EP,

just came across this thread, great work and amazing looking hosts. I will definatly be interested in couple of hosts for high power builds.

I will PM you soon, with some stuff.
Cheers!

EP,
First of all, you deserve every penny you make from this venture. Your hosts look great and sound like they are well built. Onto the question, I'm currently overseas and wondering if you ship to APO addresses? It generally requires a customs declaration form, and I didn't know if shipping from your area created any difficulties. Long story short, I've got time to kill out here and would prefer to stay busy building and learning about lasers. It would be fun to get a project going based on one of your designs.

Thank you! I've shipped overseas before it's just a bit pricey. I've never shipped to an APO address but I've read that it only costs the same amount as it would to ship to the USA no matter where you're stationed, and in that case it shouldn't cost that much more than regular. I'm not sure if that's true though. Anyway I'm willing to give it a shot feel free to PM me and I'm sure we can work something out.

Holy fuck that gold host looks amazing! Around how much for the smallest gold one in that pic? And is the grip some kind of tape? If it is do you think it would peel off over time? And how does it line up where the ends meet?

Thanks, if the "gold" is what I think you're talking about then it's one of the brass ones. Not sure what you meant on a couple of your questions, PM coming your way. :yh:

I'm offering custom host/heatsink orders as a service

If you're interested in any other materials and/or bigger sizing feel free to get in touch with me and I'll see what I can do, copper heatsinks and an aluminum body can be arranged for higher powered diodes or just personal preference.

I'll read off drawings, sketches, 3D files, even just ideas in words. I'm happy to work with you.
│ All hosts are made completely by hand through quality machining processes and tools.

KEEP AN EYE OUT ON THIS THREAD FOR MORE HOSTS
in the future

-E.P.

Down the road I'm going to need a bad a$$ host that I can use these 26650 4500mAh bad boys in and I will most likely move my NUBM44 25mm copper module over to it and use the green monster for something else, But like I said that will be DOWN the road, Is something like that possible ?

Just updated the OP, prices for these are lower than usual! Look under "stock hosts." I've included a test build with an M140 module, less than 10 minutes of run time on it. :D
