OK, fair enough. It may be the same either way with a current regulated driver (with, as you say, a "high quality" cell), I was just curious if it had been checked while powered by an 18650.
Also, I'm not quite sure what you mean by "lite on diode (I think?)". Could you clarify?

udanis, does the Jetlasers PL-C have the box and whatever came with it? And, I assume it's in good shape, cosmeticwise, as well?

If it's green, usually case positive, anything DIY red blue violet, usually case Neg
But u already know that I'm sure
The specific laser i got is case positive. i just needed to place a magnet to complete the connection between the battery and the back of the laser where there was a small gap.
You would think that, but it's not the case with many chinese 445's... the o-like 1.2W tactical for example.
