FS: 250mw PL-C, 520mw 12x and stuff.

Lite-on is a company that makes cd/dvd/blu-ray readers/burners. It's the brand of drive the diode came from.

udanis, does the Jetlasers PL-C have the box and whatever came with it? And, I assume it's in good shape, cosmeticwise, as well?

No it doesnt come with the box.
Comes with laser, keys, and interlock.
It is in very good shape.

udanis, PM sent.

Don't get too excited, it's more an update than anything.:)

Udanis, on your 405 build, would you be willing to sell the diode and driver without the host? I just don't like that Guidesman for some reason, and have another on the way that I would like for that setup.

udanis, got my pen laser today :D that was fast mate, thanks a lot! Also way to go for the extra cells :D Can you please tell me what way the batteries are placed into the laser and what those tiny cells are for ?

EDIT nvm, i figured it out :)

You would think that, but it's not the case with many chinese 445's... the o-like 1.2W tactical for example.

The specific laser i got is case positive. i just needed to place a magnet to complete the connection between the battery and the back of the laser where there was a small gap.

You know what's funny... until I came to this forum it never even occurred to me to use magnetic spacers. Now I use them in half of my lights and lasers.

It did occur to be to use magnets as collar stays back in college though... was feeling line this :banghead: when I saw a shark tank episode(decent US show) and one of the guys was looking for investors in magnetic apparel.

I said greens are usually case pos, and DIY builds red value and violet are usually case positive. I never said anything about Chinese 445s ;)
