Re: Udanis' Selling the Bulk of the Collection Sale

If you sent me the jetlaser I'll be thrilled:whistle:

I don't think I messed that one up lol

It got there quicker than I thought for 1st class mail. Lots of bubble wrap in a bubbler mailer, hopefully everything got there okay!

I'm over in NJ. Usually via USPS priority things take 3-5 days from california, 3 days from most other places, and sometimes even overnight if within NJ/PA/NY.

Re: Udanis' Selling the Bulk of the Collection Sale

Update. The lasers are as advertised, though they could use a cleaning... I suspect they spent a lot of time next to some tape...

Overall for the price I'm happy. The 50mW green peaked at 50mW and stabilized at 42mW. IR content of ~7mW which isn't too bad.

The "300mW" red peaked at 120mW and was actually amazingly stable. To be fair I knew going into this that it would not be anywhere the 300mW and udanis even went so far as to remind me of this in our PMs.

Shipping really couldn't be faster... paid friday shipped saturday, I'm lmping monday... not much more to say:beer:

Glad you got them, I pealed several diy warning stickers off before I shipped them, I guess there was still some residue.

Glad everything went well!

I still think you'd have better luck with individual sales threads. Even just pulling one laser at a time out of this thread and into its own, seems like a good idea to me.

Best of luck - your prices are great.

I know I'm kind of low balling you on this... but I'll do $40 for the ***LCC 650nm outputs around 235mw laser right now. (I mean before I go to bed, common sense kicks in and I realize I'm already nearly $100 overbudget on lasers for the months.)

@rhd - congrats on 50:)

Sure. I'll probably have it tomorrow, from PA to NJ is usually super fast.

Got the laser today. Haven't LPMed it yet, but works and looks good:D

Thanks for the broken one:beer: I have the same exact design cutie from o-like. It's either the driver or the LD... need to figure out how to get it out of there, looks like they basically glued it in.

EDIT: Just LPMed the 650nm 235mW red. Came in at 225mW with the provided, not really charged battery... so definitely as promised and up to spec:beer:

Hi udanis. If, this is still the active sales thread for these lasers, what is the output of the "***Class 4 Laser. Grey Guidsman host with a 12x 405nm diode" when powered by an 18650? I see you have it hooked up to a PS in the picture, but have no idea what voltage is being fed. Just wondered if the output is the same with an 18650, or if the drive current sags a bit with a Li-Ion cell?

Thanks,

Dave

DTR sold it to me and stated the output was >500mw. So I am assuming that is with a high quality 18650.

OK, fair enough. It may be the same either way with a current regulated driver (with, as you say, a "high quality" cell), I was just curious if it had been checked while powered by an 18650.

Also, I'm not quite sure what you mean by "lite on diode (I think?)". Could you clarify?

Dave
