How tall are they?
FYI folks IMO after using both internal and external aftermarket tension springs, I've found the internal type to work much better (the ones I've used anyhow) and they also look neater on a build since you don't see them.

I don't have any tools handy right now, but my iPad ruler app ;) gives me a measurement of 15.4mm tall uncompressed and about 4.8mm compressed. Thanks for the kind words and the free bump :D While I'm at it, anyone want 100 for $30?

I am wondering...would it be good to use an External Lens Spring in combination with an Internal Lens spring? It seems like that would give some nice tension!....maybe?

Thanks,
Isaac

If his springs are anything like mine (I suspect they are very similar) there's no need to double up, very tight hold on the lens. Probably no harm in doing it, just overkill.

Price is $0.50 USD per spring
$0.45 each for 20+
$0.40 each for 50+
You pay shipping which is roughly $4 for any amount of springs, anywhere

Thanks for looking and thanks even more if you buy some :D
Question? Feel free
Price slightly negotiable on larger quantities

I find that you can get a red laser module with the laser diode, collimating lens, the module and the ''SPRING'' for 4.06$ on ebay.5mW 650nm Red Dot Laser Module Laser Laser Head 5V Industrial Grade | eBay. It is irony. If you want big quantity of spring you can make a research on internet and find a better price.

And your point is...? Don't you remember where you got those little red dots? You seem to have picked up on your english a poco a poco. Don't use it to trash my thread. Badate a’ fatti vostri! And by the way, your new neg rep point was supposed to say, "Why do you even come here?" But the old iPad freaked and posted just WH

I picked up that kit on sale last week along with a free DMM. Havent even opened the kit yet....need to do that. Only reason I bought that kit is since I can use the other springs for projects around the house
