I prefer USPS.

UPS will charge me 20$ at the door for everything.

Just did a test for you and no, a G lens won't focus to infinity with the spring as is. BUT if you cut one in half you now have 2 springs that are PERFECT for a G lens, just tested it to infinity and beyond

No their diameter is larger, which is great IMO. And they're just a little bit longer

Just did a test for you and no, a G lens won't focus to infinity with the spring as is. BUT if you cut one in half you now have 2 springs that are PERFECT for a G lens, just tested it to infinity and beyond

You say G lens do you mean you tried the G-1 or the G-2? The new brass lens holders work with an entire aixiz lens spring as they sit the lens closer to the end of the lens barrel. Unless your springs coil up taller than an Aixiz spring but they look about the same by the pictures.

It was with the G-2 lens that I received from you in the mail this morning they do coil just a tad taller I'd say

Yep they just need to be the slightest bit taller to not fit.

Like I said you can cut them in half and they still work with any* lens
*No G1 lens to test with but I don't see why one of these wouldn't work when cut in half

From what I interpreted, DTR said these springs will work with a G1 without modifications. I just found one of those external springs(linked earlier) that I had bought a while ago. Looks like I can have the best of both worlds with both of these springs!

Not sure how you gathered that.:thinking:

I said the G-2 in the brass barrels will fit a full original Aixiz style spring where the old G-2 barrel and the G-1 will not. If his springs are taller when bunched then it won't work with any of them without cutting them in half.
