Does it works to put together some IR-lasers, to fool the police?

here in the US any laser jamming device is 100% legal i dont know about other countries tho, it also helps if u have a lower profile car that way the beam will bounce off your hood into the windshield where the jammer would be

I personally don't like the idea of any laser being pointed in my face PERIOD.....
I don't want to get into an IR laser battle here.
I asked "them" about nM and power and "they" don't know what they are doing anymore than they did with the first "radar pistols". Many officers were harmed by the radiation from those radars and never knew why or how. There eyes and nutz were slow cooked.... sad.

You had better check your facts!

Laser jammers are illegal in Nebraska, Minnesota, Utah, California, Oklahoma, Virginia, Colorado, Illinois and Washington DC. Radar Detectors are illegal in Washington D.C. and Virginia.

Radar jammers are illegal in all 50 states.

In theory it should work. I have a TV romote jammer that just spams the TV with useless IR commands so the remote doesn't work.

A good jammer would start disturbing immediately and warn you but turn off with a button or after a time. this way you can speed down and then they get a correct and good reading. a perfect jammer would measure the distance and turn of after a calculated react n brake time automaticly

I like that Idea that way they don't suspect you have a jammer and they will think there laser was just acting up. My radar/laser detector works pretty damn good it goes off at least a half mile before i even see the cop the closer i get the more bars go up. If i get another ticket then i will buy a jammer hopefully my detector works like it is now for a couple years.

Most laser and some radar guns have jammer detection built in.

yes they do but there are jammers out there that are undetectable. The more you pay the more features you get. were always 1 step ahead, at least in this situation.

If you are in the US and you have GEICO insurance, they will revoke your insurance if you are caught with a radar/laser detector or jammer.

The don't speed argument would hold more water if speed limits where based on safety instead of revenue enhancement. Its not the driver's fault that our national and local govt live beyond their means.

BTW: I don't own a car, I get around by Mt. Bike, so traffic safety is important to me. But I'd rather see human cops focus on stuff like people who change lanes without signaling, unlicensed drivers (25% of drivers in my state don't have a license, insurance or a legal right to be in our country, and they generally "hit and run")

Here in Italy we have some of the worse and less maintained roads (except maybe Africa, LOL), and this cause much more accidents than speed (holes and creeks, slick asphalt, non-draining water spots, lack of signals, lack of protective devices, and so on) ..... and ALL THE TIMES they do something for "increase traffic safety", guess what they do ? ..... INCREASE FINES !! ..... not a single time you can hear or read "we have increased safety repairing a street", or similar, all (and i mean ALL, with no exception) the times, they say "for increase the safety, fines for speed limits and so on are increased" .....

Can i call them a bunch of moronic thieves ? .... can i ? .....
