Yea, well as a retired 1%er I'm used to having an opinion. Better to have a voice than be walked on.
Dont get me wrong about cops and kids. Know a bunch of both. Its really about attitude.
Like hxdrummerxc said, why escalate a confrontation? Instead of being 'all Tarzan' and thumping your chest, just stop and say hello.
If the guy is a dick, you will know soon enough and if not you may make a friend.
He may not know the danger and you have a chance to teach, rather than just whip it out and see whose bigger.
As he may not be a kid and your megaWatt laser might make him feel threatened and then it gets real serious when its lead and not electrons flying.
Seen a lot of situations get real deadly over a lot less.

And after reading I think in a way it has been, but more along the lines of "public forum displays of stupidity" caused by one's inability to deal with testosterone...
