Why so much smilies? You're so happy that there's a possiblity of a dead extraterrestial being out there?
I saw that video few days ago. It's incredibly realistic... kind of hard to point out what could be fake in it.
If I understood right (there's a Croatian forum for these kind of things), this video has a lot of background making me believe it's pretty much genuine.I'm the first to believe in extraterrestrial life, but all these videos of dead aliens (without subsequent documentation) evoke in me some hilarity...
If there were aliens, unless there'd been some interplay between the genes on this planet and the genes on another planet, it's so unlikely to have our homeobox genes for a symmetrical body with four limbs that it's barely worth considering. Also, upright? Wtf.
Calling bullsh*t!

Yes and no... an humanoid life form could be evolved in other planets for adaptive convergence... it's unlikely but not impossible
Life as we know it adapts and evolves and adaptations that are beneficial for the environment are "selected."
Through natural selection some adaptive features may be found in many species that are not directly related in their ancestry. This is called convergent evolution. Basically, what it means, is that when nature finds a solution that works, it often returns to that solution in many places.
A good example of this is the fauna of Madagascar.
There are many animals that live there, and only there, that have been isolated for millions of years and have assimilated characteristics that are extremely similar to other animals that are not related at all.
For example, the Fossa is related to the mongoose but in isolation it has evolved to fill the niche of the apex predator on the island. It has a catlike appearance and is almost like a small puma, however it is not related to felines.
So who is to say that life elsewhere could not have found similar adaptations that reflect those of Homo Sapiens?
Life can very well be unimaginably different but it can also turn out to be remarkably similar.
Just a thought.
BTW, I don't believe in alien sightings but I do believe there is life out there, somewhere. The only way we will find any life outside our planet (with current tech) is if it exists somewhere in our solar system. Otherwise the distances are much, much too vast.
I think it is very selfish to think that the earth is the only planet with "intelligent" existence. For the video itself, I bet my 589nm that this is nothing more than FAKE.
Perhaps more times than you think, the theory of panspermia is based on this...That is, spread from the original single-celled source. How many times would evolution have to favour such similar developments for them as it did for us?
