I took a couple cool pictures of this marble with my blu-ray. It was given to me by dark_horse and I tried to get some cool pictures of it before, but I couldn't get any pictures with my crappy cell phone camera. Here's what I came up with now!!

Pretty neat! These can be found on ebay, but I can't remember what they're called. This one is actually pretty cool because its broken, the inside is shattered. So when I shine a strong blu-ray through it, the whole room gets covered in a green/blue-ish speckle, because the 405nm light travels through the cracks and gets out, as well as fluorescing the marble material.. very cool looking!

EDIT: Oh, I thought I should note that in these pictures the laser isn't hitting the marble directly. I was just using the scattered blu-ray light to make it glow. :)

What's your website, dark_horse?
Well, since you asked ;D :http://mysite.verizon.net/grall/darkhorsecustom/index.html
The marble-packs should be available in a couple of days. They will be packaged as 2 marbles in a polycarbonate "vial", (which I am manufacturing now) for $7 shipped in US, an extra $2 international, (USPS 1st class).
Yes they are uranium-glass, and as such are slightly radioactive, estimated as about twice the normal background radiation at sea-level although I do not have the equipment to verify this. They are safe and legal and really light up around the 405nM lasers.
They will show up on my site as "Reactor-Packs" ;) Pictures soon.

They're awesome... got one with my Sonar case :)

When I light it up with my violet laser, everyone goes "Ooooooh... it's so pretty!" lol. Good for impressing chicks ;)

The marbles I bought arrived today. All of them have the cracked look to them. The effect is awesome when I unfocus my Igor build and shine the 405 at them. I'll try to post a picture once it gets dark outside.
