Class IV Laser Club?

I guess I should also declare my membership as well. I have a 600mW 650nm red module, and scores of multi-watt IR lasers, but only a few are working.

YES im in!!! my PGL peaks at 532mW!!!! Its rated 300mW!!! i got lucky :P!!!

The Spyder III I returned to Steve for mods easily went over 650 mW of green. That SOB was BRIGHT.

Be very careful with that SSY-1. The dye cell Q switch boosts power up so high that it will ionize air. Be sure to have 1064 goggles. Please be careful with it.

Mike

Mentioned higher in this thread, it is a small flash tube pumped NdYAG laser with a dye cell Q switch. It will fit in the palm of your hand. Look on ebay. Very short pulse of 1064 nM IR.

Mike

Uhm, are you sure ? ..... i tried to pump some of them with 2,4KV at 36A, but none of them lased anything .....

.....

oh, wait, that was the other SSY-1, you're right ..... :p  :eg:

Seriously, DontLazeMeBro, it's a small pulsed laser cavity, 1064nm, used in old USA tanks rangefinders

This one, as example (sometimes, ebay is more helpful than google :D

So is your "club" open to owners of any wavelengths? iirc it was just Blu-ray. If any qualify, I guess my 20 watt CO2 puts me firmly in with 10640 nm wl. ;) -Glenn

Let's see here ...

1 x 4W 808nm handheld
1 x 4W 960nm handheld
2 x 2W 808nm handheld
1 x 1W 808nm handheld
450mW green handheld that peaks at 550mW
580mW red handheld

20, 25, 40, 60, and 100W diode bars.

I'm guessing: C-Mount?

I'm down.
unknown wavelength portable C-mount
should be around ~3.5-4watts @ 5amps
