Check these Puppies Out!

What's the specs ?!--Size, mW, duty cycle, burner, what type of hosts etc!!!--
They look pretty good!

Yes I made the heat sinks. The red host is the phr blu-ray running at 110mA. The black host is the red laser, not sure what the diode is but it is an open can diode. It is running at 150mA. Both are using the rkc driver and using two cr123 batteries. The host came from home depot. Thay are cheap but very nice.

Liking the heatsinks, nice job! (good photo's as well)

Man, these hosts are just popping up everywhere! Those look quite nice!! Love the heatsinks, they look like you could run an 8X or an LPC at 100% duty..

Just my opinion here, but if you were to modify your design to use a flexdrive and the original battery holder, you could probably fit those heatsinks almost entirely inside the head.

yes I'm going to make some to use the original 3xAAA battery holder and use the flexdrive.

Also thanks for the complements.

Those heatsinks make good use of the hosts... i have one of those flashlights, but never bothered to use it as a laser host since it would require a custom machined holder for the laser unit.

Your results look very nice!

Thanks, I can make you a heat sink if you like.

These hosts are identical to the "pocket pal" hosts, so the build can also be done the same way. When I saw these hosts for the first time, I took the guts out of one of my pocket pals and put it directly in that host. It fits perfectly. Since then I've built several more using the pocket pal build. If you have any pocket pal heatsinks around, you could use them..
