Good deal, the meters been on 13 like all week, thought i was gonna have to wait forever for my A140. Madmac where ya at in "green country"? i'm from Tulsa:wave:
 





I got mine from the first round today (i live in europe, so mail takes some time). Nicely installed in an aixiz modules with the leads soldered together for ESP and well packaged - it arrived well!

Here are some pics of the heatsink it put it in, and the beam compared to a 650 200mW laser expanded to about the same spot size. It's running only 600 mA here, and uses a stock plastic aixiz lens (that'll probably degrade rapidly but needs to be replaced anyway).

The three spot-shots are exposed 1 f-stop apart, and these pictures were taken with moderate roomlights on - despite that, the wall appears black while its just a white wall in a lit room :)

I like this thing too - it just depletes my color vision like crazy when looking at the dot too long ;) I was surprised at the quality of the beam/dot really - it is a stripe in these slightly defocussed shots, but appears pretty much like a dot when focussed properly a few feet away from the laser - just gotta be careful not to test that on anything remotely flammable ;p
 
These seem to sell well.. if there are any (red) leds left over, i'd be interested in those for a good price too. Its not much of a serious application, but bulding the red flashlight from hell would be fun :)
 
i got like 6 of them want to make an offer? maybe only 5 not sure but around that number....

i can only tell who has been shipped and only via trans id i have actually quite a few going out of state more than 25+ and over 5 of them are to the AU.

It's still being run like a Group Buy (or a pre-sale). A certain number of diodes must be bought/committed before the diodes are bought and/or shipped. Selling left-over diodes from a projector does not turn it into a "For Sale" (retail) action.

Maybe I need to write up a "definitional" sticky about how Group Buy vs. Pre-Sale vs. For Sale threads work. The line seems to be getting fuzzy.
