You can use both a cube and a dichro,
but with a dichro its easier to allign the lasers.

Well, you can try that, but it's a pain to align those things even if you have them held down with something like tape or whatnot. I would fix at least one of the modules, especially if you want to do a LPM because having that dot moving around isn't good.
a cube combined beams of the same wavelength and a dichro combines beams of different wavelength
I do have a tripod I could use. I just can't find any dichro lenses that don't reflect green or blue, they're either blue/red or green/red
I believe DTR has what you need to combine these beams.
maybe you need to think about it a little differently RB, BR, R, B, B, R.
