Blue Laser Dual Diode 9mm.

OK....then you must have done what ARG did...that being a sequential removal of metal off the bounce mirror mount " Post "....????

One must acheive two (2) degrees of movement....Pitch and yaw...I have been thinking how to shrink down the size of a Flexmount !!! The bottom foot COULD be machined off....and the Flexmount bolt secured from the underside. The underside bore thru could be slightly oversized to retain a small amount of flexibility in X/Y placement on the optical plane ???

The mechanical demands of beam combining can be acheived ....even on a small HH platform.....Really !!! I guess it ALL depends on how small you want to get....and, what you need for thermal managment.

We are somewhat limited....when combining modules....in that we will need a fair amount of metal....for cooling.....and a fortunate consequence is that we end up having more space too !!!...Space for optical combining components.

One final note....It is a typical accepted practice...in beam combining in the Projector Build....to have adjustabillity in your beam steering mechanicals. Such adjustabillity has the down side....that the system may become out of adjustment...BECAUSE... the mechanical mounts have adjustabillity !!! The upside is that If ( When ) the modules/diodes themselves get knocked out of adjustment....one has the abillity to
retune....to realign the beams !!!

Kinda a Catch 22 !!!! But then....Engineering ALWAYS has trade-off's !!!
Yikes....just another rant about the glories...and challenges of " Combiners" !!!

Yes, I think so. But I do not have much money LPM project, and I'm still trying to perfect his own a LPM. And Ophir is the best option for me at this time.

A very nice host. I like it. Looks really professional :) About the LPM I think you are having the skills to build one for around $50 like this one DIY Thermal LPM for under $50.

It´s of course not the same like an Ophir head, but when calibrated well it will give you quite good results.

These components are undeniable when done meticulous work in combining the beams, thank you for sharing. Image of ARG I borrow examples only to illustrate the work I've done in building this laser.

I love the dual switch but am surprised that it appears to be only a momentary for actual on.

I also intend to use the ON / OFF switch, but after considering safety issues already decided to use a temporary switch. It applies to the safety of the user and the people around you.

If you use the ON / OFF switch, the main power switch is not open, open the switch side when you open the main switch, turn your building opening uncontrolled, can be dangerous because when you not prepared for the laser turned on, so you only when you turn on the laser active.

Yes, it is converted temporarily for safety reasons and for the people around the user.
If you want to type ON / OFF, I can still change the design.
 
I would like to keep the original design of the temporary switch on my laser. There is no need to have this laser on without being able to activate it in this manner. I believe it a great idea for safety.

Some people play laser also wonder why is not the ON / OFF switch that is temporary, it enhanced safety when using more, and when you let go, it can also become instruments self-defense if needed.
 
I have ideas for the implementation of a green laser pointer with 800mW output - 1000MW of use host Sunwayman T45C.
 
Haha. I won't be using it as a club unless my life is threatened :).

And how do you install the glass dust protection. This is something I would very much liketo have on my build. Very good feature.

If a on off switch was implemented, wouldit still have the eagle eye greenlight?

Of course it will have products at the show for everyone to see. :D
