heh, yeah not not that much fun at all. Especially sitting down and trying to do 100 at a time.
Cile, you should look into getting that stencil made, then you could just swipe over the stencil and have every pad prepped with solder paste.

if only it were that easy for placing the components.....

I am actually doing these with a soldering iron... yes, a soldering iron.

and 0.010 solder. It's really not that hard. And it's a skill I love to practice and this was the perfect opportunity for me to have something to build, help people out, and practice my soldering skills.

I can assemble 7 complete boards in an hour or so....

ugh, i cringe at the thought of doing al that work with an iron.

the reflow oven is nice. It's just a nightmare if you make 1 mistake, because 1 mistake turns into 100 mistakes.

At this point, I have 90% of my presale orders completed and ready to ship tomorrow, I will CLOSE the presale when I get home tonight and start selling these regularly 'in stock' and ready to ship .

Hey fiddy & cilegray, those boards look nice!

I cant believe you are making those with an iron. Five maybe ten I could see, but I would go crazy making that many by hand.

I've been away yesterday, sorry guys. I'm dropping off 10 orders at the post office in 1-2 hours. When I get home, this presale closes... like it was supposed to a few days ago.

Follow the first post in this thread if you want to be in on time!

EDIT : Back from the post office, and all 10 packages scheduled to be shipped yesterday were sent out today. I am now trying to finish up the remaining 3 orders to be able to send those out by friday. I'm too tired right now to write a new for sale thread, so these will stay at this price for at least a few more hours ^^

Yes, they're quite ban happy here... be careful what you do or say or you'll get banned. It's kind of ridiculous. (I'll probably get banned for this post)
