A typo or a lie?

From the 1000's of people I've met, I only know about 5 who have truly let their morals guide them without compromise. Its always easy to do the bad things, but can be very hard to do the right thing sometimes. Most people fail because they dont care, and just think of themselves only. Its very sad.
I dont think I have ever had a moment were my own benefit came before my morals just for the simple fact that I know how it feels to be screwed!

You're lucky, my mom was the same way. The rest of my family is completely opposite. I slip sometimes, but I always catch myself for the most part. I have a code I try to live by that saves me in those weak moments. I'm strange in a way that I can turn off guilt, sensitivity, and empathy like a light switch, but the code keeps me going straight. That, and the heart my mom gave me. The only negative is that it generates a lot of emotional anguish for myself, but its worth it in the end.

I suffer the same thing. Being nice all the time... when I just want to stand there without any greetings... or keeping the conversation going so there aren't any awkward pauses.

I mean I generally care about people but I hate when it appears that I don't and someone might get offended. It throws me off and I just want to be myself all the time... :can:

In your case I think some charm, wit, and humor will solve those problems. Either that or play the strong silent type. Then people will react to that, instead of you reacting to them.

I dont say much to new people, and they always open right up. Too much in most cases. So I never have those problems. Women love to dump their life stories in you lap. I could care less what most guys say, and I make that obvious..

Im only posting here because I had bought a He Ne tube from an ebay seller bambi**** and she had 0 feedback, well a few days later she had a neg feedback from one of the potatorage accouts(forget which one) saying that some diodes were underspec, then I get a email from ebay saying they pulled the listing(tube) and not to pay because she was reported to them, but luckily I already recieved the item, with a free diode, she seemed like a nice seller IMO...

Cannot resist this one. Check potatorage3 items by bidder, and see what he really uses his other accounts for- getting rid of competition. That ebay user he negged called me and let me know that she got hit by him. Leaving negatives before paying. Shame on you.

Funny.... that was something that Chris would do...

Freakin drama. If we dont have enough here, it spills over to Laserchat, and now eBay.

wow you guys keep messaging non stop, all because of potatorage! MAN THAT GUY IS BAD

If you'd like to insult me, please do it directly. You're acting like I can't hear you. Also, I'm not the only cause of drama, and many of the posts are off topic so STFU.
Thanks.

Not the time to be defending yourself. Contrition is required.

Peace,
dave

Damn I had to look that one up.

Contrition or contriteness [1](from the Latin contritus 'ground to pieces, i.e. crushed by guilt) is sincere and complete remorse (i.e. regret with a sense of guilt) for sins one has committed. The remorseful person is said to be contrite
