Yep, this part is done...

I also received several emails as to what you want done with your diode (just a plot or a complete build)...
If someone has not sent me an email about this yet, please do so ASAP, so i can organize!

The instructions were in the PMs i sent everyone (for Payment Instructions).....



Other than that, now we just have to wait for the package to be delivered to Bryce for sled extraction.



I also need to know WHO wants the ENTIRE SLED and who wants DIODES ONLY!!!
(Does not apply if you are asking for a complete laser build - unless you want to see the sled)

I added rush to the order, so it is supposed to ship out today. Hopefully, they will get to me by Friday afternoon, and then I'll get the sleds shipped to Dave on Saturday morning.

Newegg has informed me that my order has been successfully charged, so hopefully that means the order will go out within the next hour or so.

yea and adding rush to the order seems to have helped. I checked the status on newegg, and it says shipped, however they have not emailed me a tracking number yet. But Friday looks promising.

Bryce -- I'll be available tomorrow (or Saturday). We should do a telephone talk through on the first one. After the first one, they are a piece of cake!

You will need a #1 phillips screwdriver and a smaller "jeweler's type" phillips screwdriver.

I've got both of those. I just extracted two broken drives today, and they were very easy. I would still like to do the telephone walk through. Were you able to send that anti-static bubble wrap to me?

Oh and newegg gave me the tracking number now. It should be here Friday. However I'll be gone from 2-10PM Friday. I think I'll have to bribe my brother to stay home on a Friday night. But I'm definitely leaving a note so that they don't leave it at the door.

I'm sorry. I thought that you said that you had anti-static bags. Glenn has not been over. I think he is/was sick (based on the sound of his voice on the phone). Since he hasn't been over and regular bubble wrap is easy to get, I did not get this done for you.

As long as you have the anti-static bags, anti-static bubble wrap is not needed. Any bubble wrap will do.
