Dusty and Tmar, you both sent me too much for this GB. The extra money was sent back to you

Bryce, seems you were the perfect person, to handle the money.... :yh:
Thanks for your help Bryce!!
BTW: I'd like at least a FEW complete sleds too, who will be doing the extractions, Glenn or Dave? I want to see a sled for a change, not just the diodes (altho importing ALL 13 sleds would be impossible due to Slovenian customs - however, empty sleds could be shipped with First Class Air separatelly)...
Also, the participants here should decide if they want their sleds or not.
If not, i'd like the other diodes from the sleds for testing... I don't even know what kind the Red and IR are in an LG 8x...
I'll be doing the diode harvesting. I can send several sleds in a first class envelope. Do you want to see one from the infamous **S03** as well? SDo you want me to "invoice" the sleds too?
The red/IR diode in the LG is a flat, rectangular, plastic, diode package. The red in the Pioneer is a 3.8mm, short, open can. I don't have one of the reds from the Pioneer.
Peace,
dave
IgorT....
I think that was one of your shortest posts ever...
Jerry
Ok, i'm not interested in the flat chip diodes... :yh: Seen too many of those in the past.
If you ship the sleds separatelly (and yea, throw in an "S03" too), in a First Class Air envelope, an invoice could still come in handy, if the envelope looks bulky from the outside.
However now that i know what the red diode IS, i only wanna see ONE LG 8x sled and one "S03" sled...
Thanks! :cryyy:
I'll get one LG - BH08LS20 sled and one infamous "S03" sled off to you via first class then.
P.S. Go visit your girlfriend
But seriously, i was thinking.... If i PIV plot this LG 8x diode i have here, and it turns out not to be a weakling (so not a candidate for the murder experiment), would it be very wrong if i turned it into a lazor, since i ordered two anyway?
I am not going to limit your experimentation. As long as I finally get my IgorT laser out of this, I will be ecstatic! Which diode it is, is irrelevant to me. Once the lens is in place, in the laser, I will NEVER see the actual diode again!
Also, in the other thread I asked if you wanted me to send you any more diodes for this test. I will have a couple of more here in the next week. I can send them along as well, if you want. It just means shipping them back to me when you are done.
