Near & far field alignment is done on the blue diodes, the epoxy is still extremely tacky though so it could still fall out of alignment while drying.
Strange that I had to worry about near field alignment this time, last time I was able to align for far field and the near field just fell into place; no such luck this time, I had to move the mirror around to find the right place to strike the cube so the near & far field would line up.
Edit: Yup, aligned went all terrible when I let it go, going to re-try and hold it for an hour while it drys :tired:
Working on it more this weekend, I lost the spot that the mirror has to be aligned on to get perfect near & far field alignment. Think I've got it again, got to glue it down now.
After that it's onto the 638nm dichro + mirror alignment.
Done the blue alignment. Power readings will be taken in a bit. The battery and cathode ray tube cup are there to prevent the system from rolling over.
Edit:
5.2W at 2A
5.3W at 2.1A
5.4W at 2.2A
Since the one diode will be driven at 2.1A and one at 2.2A 5.35W from the blue diodes is a reasonable estimation.
Looks like my combined 5.6W power estimate may be low Might be able to hit 6.1W
