40mW Sanyo 635nm LDs on Ebay

40mW 635nm should be as bright or brighter than 200mW 660nm right? Also, are these single mode?

40mw of 635 should be about the same ad 145mw of 660 according to math to my eyes it is about the same as ~200mw. Also in the end I went for a LM 337 driver in 1 build and a green laser driver in another because I wanted case positive.

They are single mode and have a really great divergence compared to other diodes I have.

They look quite interesting. I wonder what will happen in two days time though. I hate real bidding auctions on ebay. GIVE ME A BUY IT NOW!

I believe he is bragging to the forum in general, that he has some, and we do not.

I got a notice the other day from ebay about more 40mW 635's getting listed (I have it set to notify me about stuff listed with '40mW and 635nm'.. however these are ~$160 each or something like that if I remember right. So I didn't say anything.

For the same money i'd rather have one of the 170mW 635's that are about the same price.

Good find. I have a 40mW Sanyo diode as backup but the laser is still going strong. It is still laying in the box :)

Yea these are great diodes I have one at 36mw and one at 46mw. They also have great divergence.

40mW Sanyo 635nm / 30-50mW 532nm on Ebay

Also the guy is offering a very cheap 532nm module. Added it to post #205 :)
