Yes, it will be in the same plastic lens nut, so it will fit wherever the AixiZ nut fits. It was designed to fit into the AixiZ lens nut, because the AixiZ imodule is used in most lasers, and many other modules are pretty much identical.
The multilayer is meant for 650nm, yes. It should work with 405nm as well (or any other wavelength), but it might decrease the power a tiny bit, compared to a 405nm coated lens only. So i only ordered a few of the multilayer ones, for comparison.
The Multilayer ones also cost a bit more. Since we only make red and Blu Ray, the multilayer one could be replaced by a 650nm only coated lens. It's an option.
The third option would be to have all of them multilayer coated. Then, it wouldn't matter what laser you use it in. But we need to do some testing, before we figure out what is best for what...
