2107mW 445

That's is a beautiful host with a lot of output, nice, very nice work Jeff:)!! Are the drivers heat sinked to the copper module?

Nice! all i need now is a freak diode like yours and some of your freak DIY skills :)

Nice one Jeff! that diode must be pretty happy knowing who its owner is :)

Super sweet build Jeff! How's the battery life? I sure like the S.S. host and I now see it uses a 18650 battery... I really like that too! -Glenn

Nice work Jeff! I have a diode that outputs 1,481mW at 1.25A with an AixiZ lens...I wonder how well that would work in your setup? :D

Very nice!
Do you use thermal adhesive for a good thermal contact between Aixiz module and the copper heatsink, or is it just a good fit and fixed with a screw? I ask, because I'm planning my first build, and I'm not sure in this point. Many build reviews skip the thermal contact of the module, probably because it's clear after the first build:yh: Best would be to press the diode directly in the host - right?

Nope there is no thermal compound in this build and no screws from the heatsink to the host either Just a very good fit-up between them ;) there is two set screws holding the Aixiz module tight into the heatsink but that also is a nice tight machined fit.

The best setup would be a direct press heatsink and they are next :)

Just a very good fit-up between all the components.
Yes the best setup would be a direct press heatsink :)

Wow Jeff, that is really really a good fit-up, you are amazing man and that is beautiful work:)!!

Haha I wonder which annoying, picky, over ambitions, long winded buyer would force someone this beautiful and powerful out of you again... :).. this buyer must reallise love Stainless steel host!!!

Well someone has and here it is a C-88 but it's not finished yet it will get a custom HYDRA 6 trit focus adpter ;)
This one has a 26650 lithium cell for power :)

WOooWOooW!!!! OoHH if only you have more of those Stainless steel MODS with that kind of power... Received it today!!! Thanks man it was GREAT!! PREFECT!! Hmm my vision seems to be getting darker and darker i wonder why..???

What amazes me is how those diodes with thinner then hair wires connecting to the die can hold over 1.8 amps of current

In the 445 diodes I believe there are 6 of these tiny gold wires and we all know that GOLD is the best conductor of electricity :D

2111mW for how many hours ? 5 hours maybe lol... oh maybe 10 hours ok nice stuff but i really would turn the current a lilbit down to 1.2 amp :)
