YES. Preferences are different. I´m a less power, but better divergence guy.

That´s why I still don´t have one of those 1W 638nm

But I´m ok with DTR sending me this built here for free

Yeah, and in the other cases they're TEM01 with fat beams
Diode lasers are far more predictable.

Same here, i also prefer divergence. But best is good divergence combined with POWER

Very awesome laser. I wonder how it will compare with 5W of 445. I hope 2.4a is a safe op current for a long life, and 1.4W is a normal output. If you ever need room for more lasers, I'll kindly take it off your hands for free
