I got a quote on the 622nm out of curiosity since your suggestion. It's not cheap, but it's not as bad as I expected. Probably a lot better than 604nm and way better than any 488nm I've seen. Not sure if it's different enough to be worth it though.

Nope, haven't heard any more about it. DL just said that CNI keeps that secret and no one will ever disclose that. My last conversations I have had with others is that the NLO is either KTP or LBO as their guesses. So unless someone tears theirs down and can run tests I won't ever know lol.

All your talk about labbys have made me ready to buy one. I'm on Dragonlasers web site.
Lots of options. I see I can get SW & TTL Modulation, or analog with out driving the price up. Manual adds $200. Something else adds $400
Is CW constant wave? Not sure what that is. TTL modulation Is another mystery. I see we can get analog for no extra fee also.
Which do you prefer? I'm an old bastard (63) but with plenty of money ( don't mean to brag, just wanted you to know we can spend some real dough should we want.)
Let's say I have 800-1000 to blow on my first one, what would you buy?
