Welcom to LPF!

The green diodes are relatively new, and expensive too. Hopefully soon there will be higher power diodes and more reasonable.

For now, the best bet for power in green, is a DPSS module. You can get a 12mm sized green module in the range of 100mW up to 200mW.

Larger modules up to 700mW's or so: (also an expensive build)

I am new here, but I have lurking as a guest for a while now. I am an engineer in the telecommunications field and one of my co-workers directed me to this site.
I am looking to build a 535 and have been looking at components from another vendor, but, after seeing some of your builds last night, as well as the rave reviews, I am considering purchasing something from you.
What I would really like to do is build and/or purchase a 535 rated ~ 1500mA, but, unlike the 405s and 445s, which seem to be readily available, I cannot find anything in the range of 500mW or greater in the 535s. I think I saw a link off of one of your DIY posts for DTR (?) for the modules, and I think the largest offered was <50mW. can you explain why this is?

I've spent a few days reading and familiarizing myself with the options but still have a couple questions. I'm not interested in cosmetics just heat dissipation efficiency. Perhaps you could suggest a build and point me in the right direction? Thank you.

Hi Jay an old friend Tim.'I bought a top of the line Mag Lite kit from you about a year ago and i was wondering if you are building or might be able to build a 3w Big Boy similar to the black one Blord built like 8 months ago.I have bought several lasers from honorable forum members and users here like you and RHD and i am very happy and still use them and take them out every now and then to impress friends etc, but now im looking for a stable extended duty cycle 3w blue preferably big boy host or similar size futuristic looking host aluminum or polished though not black.What are the possibilities thanx.
