sky ray host i got from you a while back .

I recently bought a soj 12x br diode threw my friend Aron you may know him and when it arrived I think it was dameged the diode would not turn on even with the lowest voltage witch was 5v at 45ma and the diode would refuse to turn on I'm a local friend of Aron and we tested it with a driver and a rated power supply any suggestion Or help if its possible I can send you back the broken diode

I saw you were selling a DIY s4 survival set and a 445nm M140 Diode In Copper Module With Leads & 405-G-2 Glass Lens. I was wondering if you also shipped this to the Netherlands.

I know for a fact that if i want to get a made one through customs it will be rejected. But I thought if i purchase it in parts it wont. I already have a 200mw pen but i want something more for my company. And I heared on this forum you were the person to talk to.

Thanks so much DTR. im going to build this into the C6 flashlight host, the driver i'm using is a driver from DX set to 1.25amps. what duty cycle would you recommend for this build at that current?

@JME that is not how to test the driver. The reason you read 13.2V is that there is no load attached and the driver is boosting and boosting till it damages the driver. It is probably toast now.

To test a boost driver you have to have a test load.


@ Will yes there are no problems sending diodes, modules, lenses, ect..... Just no laser pointers over 1mW are allowed.:beer:

Hi Jordan, Well my 3rd 12x 405 is blown and now I'm thinking there something wrong with the driver cause I know I didn't do anything to blow it. My first 405 I got was with the driver and l3ns for 130.00 and I used the same driver. It came on for a second then went out. I checked the voltage coming out of the driver with 3.7v in and its 13.2v, is this correct? I believe I had you set the mA to 450.

I don't have any heastsinks or host kits in stock right now. I have used that skyray kit many times and it does an excellent job.

What about a copper heatsink for the 445nm 9mm Diode In V4 Copper Module? Please say you have one

Yep they are designed to right in the skyray build as a drop in. Just connect the red and black of the module to the red and black of the host kit from Zerolaser.;)

Yep they are in stock. They are still new and just a little testing has been done so far so at this point I would stick to the max recommended 200mA on the datasheet until more life testing has been done.

I see you got the osram 50mw 520nm... I was hope you would be getting it. how much mah should drive it to get them most mw and still have good life?
