Re: One vote, one gift: vote for the hero of LPF in your mind

I'm not too worried about the output of the flashlights. I just rip everything out as soon as i get them anyways.

It would be really amazing if you could sell the flashlight bodies, with no LED or driver. Since i don't use them anyways.

Great prices you have there...

Hey there is a demand for green modules for 'do it yourself' projects here at LPF. Can you also offer the modules? Especially the 150mW and higher ones?

laser and flashlight accessories will be available later, and there will be more choices for you.
By the way, jayrob, you are doing a really good job in the poll, congratulations to you!

Thanks John...

Take a look at this module:
Green laser module 150mW For custom build or lab [OLGLM150] - $96.99 : Welcome to O-Like.com, Your source for laser products

That is one item that would be a big seller if they are reliable and up to stated power...

Re: One vote, one gift: vote for the hero of LPF in your mind

Key points being reliable and up to spec. Whereas most people get that a 200mW Green pointer they get from a Chinese site will usually just be in the ballpark of 200mW, they would want to know FOR SURE that the module they would be buying would be ATLEAST up to its claimed output. Just to help avoid confusion.

...Some of the most well known members of LPF are here, who is the most honest and reputable one in your mind? You can have tree choices... Daguin (Dave) Eudaimonium Jayrob Kenom lasersbee MarioMaster Nikokapo Scopeguy20 Tech_Junkie ...cool laser finger beams for party

This is definitely a [partial] list of great LPF contributors ... . But anyways, the Professor (that would be Mr. Daguin to you) and Jay get my votes as they are the only two members on your list that I've actually done transactions with. Oh WTH, toss in Niko as well, 'cause it's Niko, of course

p.s. forgot to visit your website... I guess that means I don't qualify for any party-fingers, huh.

Jayrob - I chose Jayrob because... Daguin - Another good reviewer... Kenom - While many provide good details, Kenom has the ability to provide... This is my trifecta because they each focus on different areas...

...You've been here a month...
Now hold on a sec, TJ, this guy can certainly write up a storm - I'd love to have him recommend me on Linkedin... :D

I figured
Daguin because he knows lasers in and out and has the gear to test them.
T_J because I get a chuckle out of everything "his avatar" says and I'm sure he would tear the seller of a garbage laser apart in a review but do so in a humorous fashion. Pinnacle of class and charm, that one is...
I also chose Laserbee (I think) because I have noticed him a lot in the forum, usually supplying info and/or help.
From my time in the forums, I think you could give ANY moderate user in this forum a laser and it would become a priority for them to do a comprehensive review with bits and pieces of personality thrown in ^_^

I miss several people on the list that i think contributed greatly to these forums - no offense intended to those who are listed.

If you want to short list, i think there people like DDL should be included for creating a very popular driver design, and HMike should also be an option for his execellent insights - and probably many many more members for doing excellent work and research on lasers here.

A power checked green module of 150mW does cost $100 / £60.
120-150mW Powerchecked Green Modules for Host - Detailed item view - OdicForce Lasers Online Shop

The key point is that these modules are actually delivering 150mW of 532nm light.

I don't know how difficult it would be for you to do a power check and sort the modules by output?

well, we are going to do power check before we send them to our customers, but still wondering what must be contained in the powercheck?

Thanks for alllllllllllllllllll your suggestions, you are really professional and pretty friendly, thank you!

yes, it is abosutely right many other members such as DTR , Mike, and DDL should be added in the list, but after I find the truth, it's too late. I can only say sorry to them.

What Toke means is a Laser Beam Power output check...
To do that requires a calibrated Laser Power Meter....

Don't worry about it. I never expected I would be in consideration. I have only been here a short while. And you originally stated you were looking for seasoned highly trusted members. Which you have a good list of.;)

Maybe if you do it again you can get a different set of people based on the recommendations you have gotten.

 Does he even post here anymore?

Woulda, coulda, shoulda posts are kind of irrelevant here. He could of made a list of 20 people, and there would still be some missed.
