PriceAngels: Cool Gadgets at the Right Price - WorldWide Free Shipping
Hello, young and old, rich and poor, Democrat and Republican, black, white, Hispanic, Asian, Native American, gay, straight, disabled and not disabled at the forum, nice to meet you, This is the owner of Priceangels, and welcome you to our website, priceangels.com

I'm here to send a message to the forum that we have never been just a online shopping website who cares about interest only.
We are, and always will be, the reliable priceangels.

Just a joke! I like Obama so much that I can remember many of his words. In my view of point, Obama is a reliable president, just as priceangels is a reliable shopping center.

Now for the ones who have heard of us, or who ordered from us before, we are here for customer service: You can tell us your feeling, questions and suggestions. we will listen to you,and be the priceangels of yours for ever.

For the ones who hear of us for the first time, we will try our best to give you a good impression, and may we could be your priceangels one day. More over, we will try our best to give you help, whether you are our customer or not. You are our friends!

Thanks for your reading and all your supports!
Now, a good news for you: every one when read the thread, would get a discount of our website , but please make sure let me know it, all posts or reply will be appreciated!

Best wishes for all moderators, You are really nice and professional!
Best wishes for Dave, It's your suggestion that help us to be here!
Best wishes for Avery Tarasov, the owner of the forum, you have done really a perfect job, we look forward to make contribution to the forum.

Best bestes for you all!

EDIT :
Thanks for all your support! And as I promised, all the friends who read the thread, will get a discount, and I will give it to you as soon as possible. I will reply all your posts, and answer all you questions later, please wait for some time.

For the poll, all friends who vote will be thanked, and a discount will be given. Of course, please let me know first, thank you!

Thanks, nice advise!
I check the link you gave me, thanks for it! however, as a shopping center, we can't test them ourself. Just as Wal-Mart can't test all the products itself. But the factory have tested them to make sure they are in high quality. As you know we have more than 7000 kinds of products in our website, it is difficulty for us to do the test. What we are doing alway is to choose the best factory who have a good reputation in its field. For we can't do test ourselves, so we give our customers the best customer service to ensure their rights
Thanks for you suggestion!

So what makes this post "not SPAM"?
The fact that you said it's not spam?
Seems like spam to me.
1. new member posting about nothing more than the products they offer.
2. posting only to advertise for this sister site of Deal Extreme.
I doubt if this poster has ever even used a green pointer, they are a drop shipper & never have their hands on the wide array of products they sell, let alone the ability to have any quality control or capability to actually measure output power.

I noticed the "sister site" appearance too. This may be a spinnoff shipper to the US.

Do you ship >5mW lasers to the USA?

Lazier, thanks for your trust. The answer is we can send >5mw lasers to the USA.
we have sent hundreds of 50mw lasers, 100 mw lasers, and even 200mw lasers to the USA, not a record of detainment exists.

Dear Dave, I have been reading the rules of LPF again and again, but still make so many mistakes, sorry for it! This may result from the different culture between US and China. In china, we can do anything as we want if the law doesn't tell us not to, this is our culture. So I thought this may be just Ok.
Anyhow, This is a US forum, I will do as you tell me. Thanks for all your complaints and warning, I'll make myself adapt to the culture of LPF.
If I have done something wrong, please feel free to tell me via PM or some other way. All your suggestion will be cherished for ever.

Regards
John

That is a major improvement to your LPF presence. +1 for changing your appeal to members here. Your product listing looks good, and we will be waiting for some LPF reviews. :)

Re: Learn to use the multiquote and the edit buttons

However, frankly speaking, we as a retailer don't have such professional machine to test the accurate power, so we can't guarantee a 200mw laser pointer is an accurate 200mw laser pointer. And I'm pretty sure other companys can't guarantee either.

I would really encourage you to invest in a laser meter. If any of your "200mW" models are even 150mW or better, they're still a very good deal and people should want to buy them.

If any of them are consistently 200mW you could easily sell them for $100 U.S. instead of $55 or so. And that would pay for the meter pretty quickly.

Many liked Deal Extreme's "True Output" line of lasers and were willing to pay the premium. Also, O-Like and other retailers are willing to test a laser if you ask them to.

Hi AJ,
A power meter would be of no use, they are a drop shipper. As such, the product is never actually in their hands to test.

Since they say they will pay up to 60% of the return shipping costs, perhaps someone here in the forum with a meter and IR filter will order a few and post back here about actual 532nm output power on these "200mw pointers", I'm pretty darn sure when IR is subtracted from the output, they will be much much lower.

If they really want to sell Lasers at a rated power here on the
Forum then perhaps they should send a few different Lasers/Powers
to one or more respected Veterans that have one or more thermal
Laser Power Meters to test their Lasers.

Then reviews could be written on the said Lasers as has been done
before for other Laser sellers..

Hi Jerry,
I would have to disagree with you.
The best way to find out is to buy them anonymously and report the findings.
That's the only way to ensure they were not specifically hand/cherry picked units and will be typical of what anyone who orders one will get. If they are under-powered, then the customer service level they receive and what can also be reported/reviewed.

Of course a sample of 1 laser to 1 customer is too small to tell, but after a few anonymous purchases and reviews from people with meters are posted, the trend will show itself.

However, doing it your way is a good way for people to get free lasers, but I've never trusted any review where the seller knew the unit was being used for a review and provided it for free;I believe it's the most basic "conflict or interest" there is to receive free product in return for a review. No matter how honest someone is or claims to be it creates some amount of doubt when they are in effect getting paid by seller to provide a review for the seller. Unbiased means exactly that and being paid ie. getting free product in return for a review does add some amount of bias.
This is why consumer reports does not accept any advertising in the magazine and buys their review products anonymously. If they took paid advertising or received their review mechandise for free, it's a conflict of interest.

Sorry for going off topic so far on this one Jerry, but paid reviews are one of my pet peeves.

I understand your point about "cherry picking".....
but there is another side to cherry picking...

Even if the Lasers were cherry picked... any additional Lasers
sold on the Forum that did not meet the Review Laser's specs
would be immediately reported and complained about by the
members that purchased one...

The Review Lasers would be the minimal acceptable specs...
So it is NOT to the seller's advantage to cherry pick a high spec
Laser for review or it will just backfire on him with the 1st Laser
received that is not up to the Review Laser's specs...

I will not invest $$ to buy a Laser for testing so that the seller can
sell more Lasers on the Forum... It is not my job to invest $$ to
increase the seller's sales...

As we have seen recently... one self proclaimed huge market
share
Asian Laser seller seems to be a one man operation...

That does not inspire confidence... nor would that small potatoes
Seller give out free Lasers for testing....
Small operation Seller = No budget for promotions....IMO
Small operation Seller = Not much reputation to loose if shipping crap..

I'm not saying that John7788 is a small operation.... I have no Clue
if he is a one man operation or a multi-million dollar operation...:undecided:

Just my $0.02...

I see your point about investing in possible crap lasers, but in this case they say they will pay up to 60% of sale price towards the return of an underspec laser.
Only thing is, would they pay for the return and issue a refund or would they only send you another until at some point the buyer gets tired of sending stuff back and just gives up and keeps what was sent.

Toke: I agree, they most likely in the case of this company would not be able to cherry pick, as they drop ship and have little control; but we don't know 100% for sure unless it's acquired anonymously by a regular online purchase.
