Hi, Ok I can machine a host prewired matte black powder coating. But your going to look for the 808nm diode driver set up. Maybe some one on the forum will help with that.
Here is a pic of the host .
Rich:)
Holy crap! I was going to ask at some point if you do black powder coating. That's the coolest I have seen yet! I have so many ideas now.

Hi
The host holds 2x18650’s and can also have a full copper heat sink with a black power coating body

hello
ever think about getting clear shrink wrap and cut pieces to cover some the copper host parts etc?
my sinner all copper is changing colors which i expected -is that oxidising'?
long ago I tried a clear 'paint' for metal to try to keep some copper and brass items from this-
but I did not like the look.

I will give it a try hak

A little bit of metal polish and a bit of elbow grease will give copper and brass......most metals really, a nice shine. :)

Hi,
In a pinch to spruce up copper is to use a jewelers rag or a bit of metal polish like Red said.
I just purchased some clear powder coating just for the prevention of oxidation on Copper .
haven't tried it yet but it seems a solution. Need to see if it changes the brilliance of a polished copper sink and focus adapter.

That's actually really awesome! I've shied away from copper hosts because I was afraid of tarnishing the metal.

Ah, Can you tell me what that coating is too and where to buy it? Because I would really fancy some for the copper pen you had made for me, Constantly polishing can get tiring. Would it work for my brass pens too? Sorry Snecho, Ment to quote Rich.

Hi,
Ok I just tried a polished piece of copper and I am coating it with clear powder coating. Its high gloss clear, will post some pics after it bakes on.

Ok the test piece is done and it came out great , like I said its a high gloss clear powder coating. It came out so well I might offer it as an option to a copper build or just the heat sink and focus adapters. here are some pics of the results.
The nice thing about the clear powder coating is that it will not change the appearance of the polished copper item.

Wondering about using clear shrink. ... cheap enough to replace when needed,
hole for access can be easily made. seperate pieces allow the focus to turn --same with tailcap..afraid it may look. funny

Gonna get some clear and try it out-will share w/ anyone wanting.
i hated those clear plastic sofa/loveseat covers...

anyhoo
my Copper Sinner has tarnished.. so i will try this on it. (after shinng up+)
will make a note here w/ link

best seller of all shrink tubes-the 'heatshrinkguy' IIRC. ask for some extra samples when you order and he will help.
he has added many new colors and all sizes and all shrink factors.. offers many 'sets' but will make you any 'mix' you want.
EZ color coding.

Hi Hak
That might work for those who dont have a powder coating unit. I am looking at the piece I did and no tarnish at all
