SOLD.. Thank YOU :)

Hi Folks,
Here is a Carbon fiber wrap Aluminum host, in it is a Oclaro 700 638nm diode. It operates on 1X18650 battery and LpM's at 700+ mW's
Thank You Rich:)

Nice, the 488 is discontinued as is the 495 but the 495 is hard to find already, I have seen just the 495 diodes selling for 100.00

Hi Red,
Really wasn't up on that I just repaired an old customers build with a new 495 , but I didn't take his first born just how I am.
Rich:)

Look at this nice little host Rich made:

The diode is available on ebay searching under part number GH04W10A2GC. When the batteries are fully charged this pointer produces over 1650 milliwatts of output, or 1.65 watts. When the diode is pushed hard such as this one is producing over a watt and a half of output, the wavelength shifts to between 410 and 411 nm.

This wavelength near UV is only 1 percent as bright to the eye as the same amount of power coming from a green 532 nm laser. This wavelength is deceiving because it appears so weak, but appearing weak when the energy is really very high makes it especially dangerous to those who don't know. Put it on a laser power meter or burn something with it, and you can then see it packs a lot of sting.

Hi Alaskan,
Glad you finally received the batteries for the build , its been a long time . Those 501b hosts are great for a medium pocket size carry laser. And the trans violet powder coating on the sink and ficus adapter go together quite well. Thank you for the video to show the folks here at LPF how these 405nm diodes are when fired up.
Enjoy and always a pleasure buddy
Rich:)

Thanks again for the good work Rich, I'm never disappointed in any of the many builds I have received from you.

Hi
Thank you so much Chris it
Means a lot To me. I try my best sometimes not enough hours in a day.
Between work , home and the machining at my age now I get a little shot at the end of the day
Rich:)

That custom side button host is very nice, someone better buy it before I do, if you are about to pull the trigger. That 638 nm red is also a very pretty color, much nicer than 650 red.

Hm, I think it really depends, When looked side to side 638 looks like an orangy red, meanwhile 650 looks like a pure red, Shame we don't have any high power 670 diodes. They would make such a nice shade of deep red.
