I wouldn't buy the 671, it's too expensive. The 561 doesn't look too bad though, maybe a bit moah powah, or madly overspec.

Now, these in a PGL3C I would buy. Why? Nice host, better heatsinking. DPSS in a pen, not as stable.

561nm has been bought before in the PGL-III-C format. Though they quoted me $800 for any output from 5-20mW. Though that was upwards of a year ago.

Asked CNI concerning the quantity discount for 5-10pcs and they won't, Ava told me this is the lowest they could go so these are the final prices.

If you are curious about wanting a specific wavelength made in a GLP ask me and I'll tell you what Ava tells me

561 pens have been available by CNI resellers for quite some time, and 671 is one of the wavelengths involved in 593.5 DPSS, and they sold those as pens

I may be interested in a 561. Just because its so "rare"-I can think of ~3 people that have 561 handhelds, and 2 or 3 that have labbies.

Ask how much the 473's are. they seemed to be dropping in price until places stopped selling them.

And if you want some laughs, ask about getting 607 in a pen :crackup:

I am assuming you only inquired about <5mW pens, due to them not selling higher powered handhelds, right?

edit: this may be a long shot, but ask about bare GLP hosts, specifically the larger version used for the 473's. I would be more interested in just hosts than actual lasers.
