[FEELER] CNI GLP <5mW 561nm & other wavelength's

Re: [Interest Thread] CNI <5mW GLP "561nm/671nm/405nm/685nm/473nm/589nm/594nm"

Hey Greenlander I don't see 594 up there in the pricing, did you get a price on those?

I did a few months back. Ava quoted me at USD230 for a 1mW unit but I did not want to list it since the price may have changed.

561 and a maybe on the 473.

... And definitely on any other obscure wavelengths they can do :P

Thanks for taking part! You are on the list :)

Hey Greenlander not too necessary I was just curious what the price was. If I change my mind I will let you know.

Sounds good, we are in no rush! If you have any particular wavelength you might want tell me and I'll ask Ava :)

Actually could you do me a favour alex? Get a quote for 594 in a pgl3c? Highest power they'll do. I want a more powerful yellow, but doesn't have to be 589...

Re: [Interest Thread] CNI <5mW GLP "561nm/671nm/405nm/473nm/589nm"

More power 594 will be much more expensive than 589 I predict.

Re: [Interest Thread] CNI <5mW GLP "561nm/671nm/405nm/473nm/589nm"

Yeah, and probably shocking out in the cold even in a 3C. It's more for curiousity's sake as I know the 3C with 594 will do 20+mW on a "good day", which I suspect is significantly more than my Rigel peaks at (eytyxhs metered it at, I think, 13mW) and it's already quite a sight.

...in all honesty though, I'll probably heed your advice and just get the 589.

Hey trench, I sent Ava an email asking what is the highest output they can produce of 594nm in a PGL host, I'll let you know what she says.

Will you be taking part of this GB with a 589?

Just so you know, Ava is a female.

I know haha, I'm on an iPod at school and sometimes autocorrect fixes words and I don't notice it :)

New wavelengths added!

This is all that is going to be available since CNI has most likely grown tired of me sending emails at this point only to ask for quotes :)

Wait, you got them to agree to ship you >5mw handhelds?? How o.O

Thank you for doing the legwork Alex, but the prices are a bit disappointing. CNI aren't even competing here with Dragon on both 473s and 589s, let alone trying. I'm also not desperate enough for a chartreuse pen to get the 561 although price is better than I expected, guess because it's not difficult to make.

So, it's good night from me and good night from him - I won't be participating in this GB.

You are welcome!

561nm isn't very difficult to produce. It just isn't cheap due to its limited use(medical field mostly), making the crystals expensive :)
