On the second shelf, the middle silver colored one with the orange tailcap?

It reminds me of Rayfoss and/or Olike and most hobbyists don't buy those later on. I know my first pointer looked like that. Also the rest on that shelf look selfbuilt. And they have normal colored switches.

Is it the mini Jayrob build on the right of the 1st shelf? If not that, then I'd say the keychain blue next to it.

The keychain is very different from everything else on that shelf. Also, that Jayrob mini was released in early '09, similar to your join date.

Well now that's just racist.

Hmm, are you dropping a hint? Because now I see a really long black one on the third shelf,
maybe that is it.

My methodology is that it's waaay longer than the others. Plus you can play "baseball" with
it. Oh, and it looks like a scepter fit for a king.

Strong method but that's not correct.

Nice collection...

Is that an MXDL far left on the 4th shelf?

I'll guess maybe that one was your first build...

Good guess jay, how did you get to figure that was the one? That is not the right one however, that little honey has a PHR in her with one of Bosco's 20mm fans.... yep that little unit when clicked on goes voo0oooom.

After all the guessing going on the methods of some members were getting so close.

I can say the it's so obvious, almost like a homely o'l sow in the middle of a Hawaiian Tropic bikini contest.

On the second shelf from the bottom (4th shelf), middle, back row, right behind the polished one?
This is based on your last clue, although I can't really see it too clearly.

Those were my first series builds as a matter of fact, but none my very fist laser. I was buying 30mW greens for there body and using the modules for parts.

That is not it.;) I can say that is a 30mW (prolly higher) module taken from the didla's that DJNY guessed at... custom built greenies was the trend during that era of the hobby here.

This thread has served me to give a history on some of my builds, the forum and other tidbits from the past. Look at the some of the post, I have been able to give little details on each guess. Kinda cool for me to reminisce:can:

All right, one more guess for the road: top shelf, second one from the left in the front row, right next to the big black one. :D
Same logic as last post; looks as if it might bean around a bit.

No that's not it that little one is my first use of the now infamous blitzbuck... An m-140 set at 1.8mA and just happens to climb at a very slow rate prolly 1.9mA after 1.5 min. Host is one of those 3 Costc0 value packs it has a G-2 lens however and is a really good burner.
I use a 3 10440 battery tray.

Okay. Two guesses really quick. Fourth shelf, left most on the bottom. It seems more bulky than the others. Almost like a sow at a bikini contest. The other that sticks out to me is the aluminum one on the topmost right of the second shelf.

These seem to be less streamlined as the other builds near it.

I am starting to wonder how many guesses will happen before someone gets it.

This seemed to be the same unit jayrob guessed on:thinking:

I did not mean to have you think that was a clue Isaac sorry, I meant that it should stand out like the description not that is has to do with literal terms (fat vs skinny). Keep trying.

Photonz if you could tell me your method I could tell you how close you are in in a round about way, but that is not the unit... That is a 100mW KD greenie I bought years ago.
