PGL lll 593.5 now in my collection.

I happened to off load this beauty from our own forum legend scopeguy20 in his sale thread. Thanks Glen. I unwrapped the carefully packaged unit and was surprised that it contained another 405nm pen styled laser that I would dare to say was doing way more than 5mW (it actually burned the back of my hand)

Now what it didn't contain was the key and interlock... I think that was his brain's subliminal coping mechanism kicking in due to seperational issues with this bad boy:thinking::na:

So like a good laserist I went into the flock and pulled the tailcap off my WL Arctic and BAM! it fit. So untill the parts reach me this is how I'm doing it because that's how I like to roll. Besides now it does a tailstand:drool:

So here are some pics and I will update with power #'s, but Glenn say it's over 20mW just how over who know's I'll push it to 1min. once just to test and then back to light duty cycles for this guy.

I have just 2 cameras an older 2mega and my EVO OG phone that's suppose to be 8mega. SOOOOo here is a camera phone pic, sorry I'm working on that as well.:cryyy:

Edit: Had some time today added the LPM. 31mW peak I like:wave:. top drawer for sure. Thanks for looking.:wave: After some warm up runs it does 18mW for the 1min & 20ish at 30 sec run times as of current room temp 22.7°C

Your camera makes it look pretty bright and quite yellow for 593.5..

I need to change the setting on my camera or something my 130mW 589nm doesn't seem to be very photogenic haha..

Video was with fogger running for a short time the unit will get tested as soon as I get some time. I feel that this unit is one of those that you just hope for while researching and investing. It isn't a laser for a beginner if that isn't to rude to say.

NICE PIX MAN, & WELCOME to the "YELLOW LASER OWNERS CLUB" I got the OTHER yellow GLENN was selling way early when the sale 1st went up. I MIGHTA been one of the 1st buyers to jump on those deals. Mine is a 593.5nm also. When I 1st got it, it didn't have the front cap & filter & was pushin' 12-15mW. Then GLENN sent me the front cap with the filter, & the out-put dropped considerably. Still is a GREAT COLOR though isn't it ?..................... rob

Yea I kinda put 2 and 2 together on your deal I originally wanted the 1 you got, but after a month worth of bologna sandwiches for lunch I got this one which I put in the top bin. as you can see in the chart for a 594nm it is beast.

Sure thing pal. Looks like you got a good one. I USED to have a nice 589nm too, but had to let 'er go during my mortgage crisis, ERRRR!!!
But, gotta keep a roof overhead. (CRAP)!

Yeah that's pretty accurate to how 593.5nm looks irl. 31mW peak is a beast! Mine peaks around 19mW every now and then and it's a "whoa!" moment.

I don't own a 593.5, but I'll say the pictures look pretty close to my 589. I love the color

Yes My EVO camera does do a pretty good job here. I'm working on better photo's. I now have some new equipment for that cause. This is where I was lacking in this hobbie.:thanks:

I hear ya, when I got to 31mW on this unit I felt like locking it the safe and leaving it there.:beer:
