Since the Osram direct-green was announced, I was looking for a new guy for adding to my wavelength collection.
I was not interested in the output power, should as far away from the 532nm wavelength as possible to get the
maximum visual difference between these two.

As there is a 50mW rated 520nm and a 30mW rated 515nm diode existing, I definitely wanted the 515nm.

Pictures below were taken for showing the visual differences between the 532nm and the 515nm.

Thanks to laserbtb and offroadfreak8582 to make this possible

Lovely pictures. More and more 515nm lasers is becoming available for us.
Your wish for a 515nm finally has finally fullfilled. :)

Great photos! Do you have a 520nm laser you could use to compare the three? :p

Gorgeous beamshot photos! I'm really impressed by them, the lasers, all of it. No specifics, but does the price of that 515 range near the 520?

Well done, sir. +1 for your toys and effort!

Greak pics, Beautiful color!
I can see why you would want to get as much separation from 532nm as possible.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comments guys.

No, not yet. But I have a feeling, looking at some 520nm pics, that there is definitely a visible difference.

They´re cheaper than the 520nm diodes!

They were $270 a few days ago, now you get them for $180 before shipping here

Insane pics DJ thank you.

Definitely a 515 for me too, admittedly I am a "power" junkie , but the 515 is irresistible.

+2 for sure.

Wow that is fast! I actually think it is crappy they go down that fast. Makes you feel bad if you just bought one.

I like both, low powered indoors, big ones outdoors.

Is there a source for the bare diodes yet?

O-Like has them! It should be 515nm, not 520nm as they listed them.

A bit yes. But then I think of some of our poor members back in 2010 buying the 445nm diode for $500. A few days later, when the vast majority knew about the source, they went for $55 :can:

Very nice color, you can actually see quite a difference in the pictures so I assume that in real life the difference is even greater.
Now did you LPM the laser to see the actual output?

Nice pics, thanks for sharing although everyone is gaga for the lower 515nm 520nm.

I still froth at the mouth over rhd's 556nm. Just something about this limey green.
