I'd make them take them down. Why should they make money from your hard work? They could at least give you a diode, or something.

Its OK Buddy. I deal with them and they are very nice to me when buying stuff if you know what i mean. So i dont mind them. IF it was someone else that i dint know on ebay i would let them know.

Its not a 1 time thing. Its they dont have 1000 in stock. They might have ~100 diodes in stock. Iam sure they will re stock.

But again I dont know what they have plained. All i know is what they said and that is Limited stock which means at the moment of you want one get it. 1Week or might be god 2 weeks they might be gone. IDK.

I just dont want you guys to miss out.

You still have to be carefull with open can diodes. The wires and the facet are open to the air and any physical contact with it will destroy it. But from lasing standpoint it doesn't matter if it is open or close can. They will behave the same.
And if Mitsubishi is confident with the open design of the diode, who are we to argue with it ?

You can change the amount of AMC7135 chips on the board to change the current setting in 350mA chunks.

Is it stable enough to drive a laser diode? My initial questions regarding flashlight drivers were pretty firmly rebuffed. The general response was that they were too unreliable and unstable for laser diodes and would likely kill them.

How many 7135's does it come with and what current does it supply in default?

Is there a thread on how to change the 7135's? I would love a strobe driver.

On a more basic level, would a plain old linear drive these ok? I assume boost is out for a red. Buck is ok?
