Indeed this is EPIC! Making history on LPF, good job guys! +1

BTW, I think I know where you guys got the diodes. :shhh:

And OSRAM should be producing green diodes next year, right?

Eek, you're right. Lazerer copied you, yet I make the mistake on yours :embarrassed:

I think you should fight them to take that confusingly similar domain name away ;)

Fingers crossed for a future group buy when they're <$150/diode. (no idea what these actually cost)

Are those things retail or engineering samples? I guess that you won't mention who makes them?

I've never thought of any diodes as "retail" per se. I suppose these would be more akin to engineering samples. It's sort of a dichotomy that maybe doesn't fit here.

Holy sh:)t.

Every once in a while, something as nice as this happens, reminding me that time flies by faster than anybody would like.

As a member on previous page said, brix were in-f:)cking-deed shat when viewing them beamshots.

Unbelivable. So efficiency of 3%... but teh divergence!!! 0.25 mRad! Christ.

Won't be long now until they're up to couple of hundred milliwatts.

Thanks, RHD and Aryantha, for bringing us the future!
Hold on to those two firsts. In a matter of years they'll sell for millions.

This is why I love this hobby, it changes quite a bit.

I imagine that a 5mm beam should be a GREAT beam size for combining with reds and blues...
