I have a couple spare 405nm PHR-803T diodes.
I'd be willing to sell them both for $15 + shipping.
I think the PHRs are going for $10 each these days.

They would make good diodes to practice with. And if you destroy one, you still have an extra!

I also have some Aixiz modules. I can spare 2. $3 each.
If you want I can even press the diodes in for you.

I was actually going to order a few more PHRs. They make for great sled disassembly and diode extraction practice. Got any high-power red sleds/diodes?

9000 is obviously an exaggeration, it's more like 20.

Should have specified that I prefer visible wavelengths.

Leodahsan: try DealExtreme.
Also, you can replace the 3xAAA cartridge in most hosts that take 3xAAA with a single 26500, available at Lighthound.

EDIT: I mean 22500. 26500 would probably be a bit too wide.
