World smallest QUADCOPTER for Promotion Price

One on the left is 2.7kw , the large brushless motors are mainly limited by thermal effects

Series brushed motors are good as they give all torque at start up , just a shame they are massive in comparison : P

Has anyone received their Nano Quad yet? I ordered mine on March 2nd
and have heard nothing other than PP confirmation.
I'd feel good with a tracking number.....

they wrote me 4 times this:

---------------------

I pressed them and they responded with a tracking number
but it doesn't give any info. That may be HK "express" !!!
HMike

It now says that it's on a plane as of 03/03 .... That's a
slow plane.............

They say to be patient but the tracking number still
does not show up in the USPS system.
Must be on a slow boat...............

I ordered one the same day and a couple other items one of the other items came in on the 18th but not the copter or the spare props and
I sent an email to them and got a response saying the shipment was broken up into two shipments and they gave me only one tracking number.

So since it's been over 30 days I filed a dispute today and will give them about 10 days and then I will file a claim if it's not here by then.

I got mine today too. At first it flew but with no control
from me. Lost several blades.
Now, I try to take off and it just flips over to the front
and right. If I hold it, I can hear the motors modulating
but no control in flight.
Adding trim seems to have no effect.
HMike

I'm trying to slide it around on an old laptop - smooth.
I can't steer it around -- One of us is lost with no pinger.

It won't take off anymore :-( Almost tries---------
6 Axis gyro???? Where? This couldn't wipe its butt if it
had 6 hands.
The PCB has 3 chips. Can one small flat chip have 6 axis output?
I guess I've rambled long enough -- Good night.

Mike, the props are not universal. Diagonals will have the same handedness of angle to the blades. If you reverse one it won't fly. Verify all props blow downward and that the curves are the same on diagonals.

There is a procedure to calibrate the accelerometers that I've found to be required for first flight of these tiny quads. It involves holding the throttle at zero and giving full rudder in a particular direction while giving alternating full aileron vectors until the lights blink.

Sig --
Thanks for the info. I didn't see that blades of the same color
have reversed pitches. I will try the calibration.
None of this is in my "book"..
HMike

I was able to "fly" it a little tonight. The calibration method
doesn't seem to work. I'm not sure these have gyros.

If it is based on the Tx/Rx protocol then place it on a flat surface and hold the left stick at the bottom right corner; while doing that move the right stick back and forth full left and right without pushing it up or down. Do this quickly back and forth many times. Lights should blink when it's accepted.

That's why I generally prefer to pay a bit more and get something of confirmed quality and expected service level. Deals are nice too sometimes though.
