Yeah England dind't play as well as they could have
Somehow some of the players acted unmotivated (especially Rooney)
So for me from a neutral point of view ;) the draw was fair

Da*n you Koman Coulibaly. The US played well enough to win, clearly, but didn't.

But LOL @ England, and at least the US controls its own destiny now. The US should already be qualified to move on, but oh well, all we have to do is beat Algeria to move on.

Come on US, beat Algeria. Forget whatever everyone else does, just WIN and advance, that's all there is now. Just win and advance.
 
What sort of football was that?! England tonight were - Dull, dull, dull, dull ,dulll. I really think they deserved to score on effort but where was the finish? It's like they thought just getting the ball to the penalty box was a score! If that were the case then we had loads of goals!!!!

Did the US play well enough to win though? At 1 nil down I didn't think so, and the end result agrees. Algeria best not get a couple of easy goals in the first half or USA are stuffed! :p If England win against Slovenia and USA draw, (again), they're finished.

It does make interesting betting if all teams were to draw from now on though. If the USA still draw with Algeria but with goals scored, and England draw Nil-Nil... On goals scored, I think it may be a USA to win the group. Frankly, unthinkable! ;)

England, tonight you let me down...

Disagree. US had more shots, more shots on goal, more corner kicks, more time of possession.

And the US scored 3 goals, clearly enough to win, and yet it was taken from them, and they were handed a tie instead.

Yeah, they played bad in the first half, but they still did enough to win the thing.

But oh well. We win the next one, and this one won't matter. We control our own destiny, and that's a fine place to be.
 
Deeply dissapointed,

I truely hope the England coach has a good hard think about dropping Rooney, Heskey & Barry.

Bring in the Spurs players, Crouch, Defoe & King (not just because I support Spurs:) )

We can still do this fellas:gj:

Just drop Hesky :P He's useless. He practically stared at the ball while it was rolling towards the keeper and he was a few feet away.

It was a toughie but under the rules it was technically a hand ball. I'm not suggesting it was totally deliberate but the ball did hit an arm and was prevented from going in. I think it was a good call.

Not so eagle eyed when it comes to awarding goal kicks after the ball clearly goes out of play from a goalie?

Not a bad result though considering Australia were down to only ten.

I think we all are just looking to the next game to determine where we go from here.

Good stuff from Brazil. Some nice football! Bit of argie-bargie and some more questionable reffing though. Double hand ball form Brazil; red card for Kaka, (deserved I think but play acting from the Ivory Coast that may come back to haunt them after FIFA look at it)

Surprising draw for Italy.

I think that means Brazil and Holland are the only definites for the next round so far?

Not happy, "lapins", at all! Sending Anelka home; refusing to train. Not confident they really want to be there.

Also, mutany suggested in the England camp and rumours the FA will sack Capello, (or he'll resign, whichever story you've read), should England bomb out? Why can't they keep their mouths shut until after we've played the football?!!! Surely this only adds unecessarily to the pressure? Or is it lining up an excuse for failure? Either way, it sucks. No confidence it seems and that's where England usually fall down. On the right day it could happen but not when caught up in the backbiting and squabbling.

Just get on with it and do something with the ball... !

Lol @ the referee of the match Brazil-other team i dont know the name in english, but its african.

Second goal was lol. he took the ball with his hand and the referee saw it and told it to the scorer. fail
