Wicked Lasers GB #2 - 473nm & 589nm Handhelds + More!

Just to clarify, would 4 units of 5mW 589 and 6 units of 10mW 589 count as a combined 10 units? Or do you need 10 units of a specific wavelength and power?

No, he asked me for 10 units of each (no need to get 40, only 10 for each category, i.e.: We get 10 requests for the 5mW 473nm --> the GB starts).

Damnit, I would be all over this GB, if it wasn't for damn post-grad tuitions...

Maybe in a couple months...

I never would have believed it a year ago when WL said they where going to try to turn themselves around, but it certainly seems that they have.

Honestly, that makes me happy. :)

I am, as well, and back 2-3 years ago, I got good service and I bought like 25 Core lasers, the astronomer pals would ask for them! Once in a while a defect would show up, and they replaced it quick and even sent me a extra laser 2X when It was 1 defective returned. So, I got fast & very good service with the Core lasers from Wicked Lasers.
Now I am happy, Very Happy with my Evolution Pro and Spyder I lasers too! -Glenn

I just got a Laserbee and measured my 3 year old 35mW Evo and it actually was over 45mW!

I have a really old Evo too, lives in a Dragon case, mine was rated 15 mW and it still does 50-68 mW, it also has an interesting artifact that looks like the dot marks the center of a spiral galaxy. -Glenn

That's an astronomer's pointer! :D

I have a Nexus from WL at least 2 years old. It lives in a dragon case too...

It was sold as 95mW's, and is still over 100mW's. :)

Ask what price they can do for a 50mW+ 589nm in a SpyderIII host for 7 people. If they won't do 7 (it's expensive, so they should do 7...) ask the price for 10. If it's something in the essence of 80mW for around $850 or ~60mW for $750, put me down. I think we should totally do this group buy because 589nm Yellow as a truly amazing beam, and is 85% as visible as 532nm Green. You would have an amazing Fire-Beam as visible as a 65mW Greenie! Can you imagine that??? On the other hand, blue (473nm) is about 8.5% the visibility of green, so a 10mW Blue would be like a <1mW Green (forget about a beam!). I think we should focus on getting a good 50mW+ Yellow-Orange going (in the SpyderIII host, which is just about perfect for the module). 10 people may be difficult so WL might so 7... let's do this GB, people!

I'll ask him the prices for 10 50mW 589nm units.

...any word?

I might not be in if it takes much longer....

I think he meant word on yellow prices.

I'd like a high powered yellow myself, I just don't like that tail on/off button.
