Wicked Lasers GB #2 - 473nm & 589nm Handhelds + More!

10 mw in the spyderIII hosts abnd only 350bucks? Thats awesome. Too bad i just ordered a 5mw blue cni ;(. Okay i think it will take a bit till the group buy is over. I`ll try to sell it in ebay or something xD

This is as good a place as I can find for this thought.

Given this GB and the previous, as well as several positive reviews and other threads, should the owners of the various posts listing WL as "bad", and one of "companies to avoid", etc., consider editing those posts?

I've noticed newcomers, doing their research, understandably confused. They see both "WL is bad", and "WL GB #2".

It seems fair to say that Wicked Lasers' reputation has improved here, yet we have conflicting information.

Duh. More specifically, I mean FAQs and Stickys. We want people to read those. They should be current, or add a caveat at the top that states "information herein may be out of date or incorrect".

For example, this sticky:http://laserpointerforums.com/f45/guide-buying-your-first-green-laser-30608.html states:

"These are the sites you should NEVER buy from. They're underspec, have questionable quality, and are just plain scammers." and includes Wicked Lasers. Why have that in a sticky with that much important info if it is no longer considered true by respected members such as yourself?

I know, and you're 100% correct. Thus I'm going to re-do the FAQ in January as I had already said in some other thread. I'll welcome any help :)

hmmm, cant stop my self here.

Put me down for a 10mW 589 as well. :eg:

Just a quick question, do WL offer any sort of repair sevice, or warranty?

Cheers man

I don't know, but why do you ask? If the laser arrives DOA then they will replace it.

10mW 589 - Spyder III preferred; (think I said that) - still not sure when this GB is happening but, wanna get in on it.

Just to clarify, either style, I don't mine. If you wanted to count my vote though, it would be for Spyder II...

Just to clarify, would 4 units of 5mW 589 and 6 units of 10mW 589 count as a combined 10 units? Or do you need 10 units of a specific wavelength and power?
