Went to see the doctor.

Well I will count mine off:

1 x Scar on right foot from sticking a Manual Tiller through it whilst gardening. I was distracted watching my shadow...and they didn't know I was ADD...suuuuuureeeee......
1 x Scar on upper lip from Bike Accident as a kid...was going fast, hit some sand on the concrete and my bike went horizontal sending my lip dragging along the pavement.
1 x Scar on Index Finger, basketball Goal fell on me when I was doing a dunk....apparently you are supposed to fill the base with sand.
1 x Scar on middle finger...see above
Many x Scars on the rest of my hand.....see above

I think that is it, but if I think of more I will share :) Considering all the proof of my foolishness in everyday life, it is no surprise I kill drivers and diodes due to mindless mistakes.

Hahah, yes you are meant to fill it with sand

I'm sorry but I don't have a copy of the O.R. pic, but I'm going to try and get one.

Chicks dig scars WAY MORE than than they dig carcinomas ;)

Let's see -- scars --
longest = ~14 inches
deepest = ~4 inches long and still ~1/4 inch deep
where = both ankles, groin, abdomen, hands, arms, back, nose

I consider them the evidence of a life well lived :D

Peace,
dave

Well lets see:

Most of my scars deal with the fact the Evil Kenevil was a child hero of mine,
and well, I pretty much ran around in the mountains unchecked for many childhood moons.

I scalped my self 2x in as less than 2 weeks of each other. 1st time using a tow chain as a jump rope 2nd time running in the house and tripping over a rug and finding a conch shell ashtray.:(:o

Then I found myself having a ruptured appendix, left 2 day traveling in the backseat sicker than a dog until we got to the hospital and they sliced me open without even a shot, turned out it wrapped around my bowls and gave me toxemia. They had to leave the wound open for drainage and I ended up in 7 weeks total in isolation due to reoccurring infection.

Then I had 2 hernias, 2 arthroscopic surgeries due to me thinking I was an x-gamer on my Hutch bike.

Then I had a guy use a machete (longer story) on my right ankle... left hanging by the skin
with 3 3.5" screws holding it together, still have them in there:undecided:

Pinched off finger tips you name it. Almost drowned 2x once po'ed a guy flirting with this chick at a public pull thought he would teach me how to breath underwater, then I fell into a icy river crossing a slick bridge.

Many more, but I never had it as bad as James here... hats off to you bud and I still pray for ya:can:

WOW
I'm fine they got it all and it was basil cell. wont spread, only grows on the skin. All it really does is muck up the spot it's in.
They got it all and I don't even have a follow-up appointment.

:thanks:

Ed

Did you get a lot of sun when you were younger?

Did you get a lot of sun when you were younger?

Out in it all summer long, tons of salt water fishing from small boats.
If it was now my parents would probably be charged with child abuse.
2-3 good sunburns a year.

Thats not abuse... well given the crap sun protection they had back then, but I call that living good:p

These are my most recent. Only two scars from it, unless you count the small ones in my elbow from the same accident.

Forehead with some sensory nerve damage

Arm: ORIF humerus with radial nerve palsy.

Right Arm X-Rays showing all the metal. The "snake head" is at the elbow.

In addition to these I have:
1 X on my heel from "rat trap" style bicycle pedals as a kid.
1 X right thumb from trigger release surgery.
1 X left arm (2 cm) from a dog bite
1 X large "zipper" scar from Hiatal hernia repair as a child. This was before Laparoscopic surgery and goes from sternum to naval and is about 1/2" wide.

Those of you on my Facebook friends list have seen those images before (And much worse).:o

scars? geez, i have lots of them from working construction for 40 years. no surgical scars tho, so far...
this is my latest. got it from a 4" grinder with a diamond masonry blade. oops....

@james - that's a gnarly looking' snake head!

In that last X-Ray picture you can see the actual bone graft they did. The arm was so badly mangled that they had to take all the fractured pieces grind them up and pack them back in to re-grow that section of bone. :barf:

It's pretty easy to see on that X-Ray. It's the less dense area in the middle on the image.

Just don't get drunk like I did and try to put a tat on with a soldering iron... J/K
