Video: How To Operate a Dyson

 $1500! I don't even like to vacuum :D The hacked part is pretty sweet, but I would rather spend that money on your Lasers :gj:

What do you think it's a good robotic vacuum? Rumba any good??

I do not think there is a good robotic vacuum. Roomba is as good as they get. I'd only recommend a Roomba if:
Short hair
No pets
All bare floor
And you're too busy to do it yourself and too cheap for a maid.

As far a Ryobi is concerned; I don't have much experience with them. I don't know their specs or how easy they are too be serviced. Shop vacs are generally treated as disposable, here in the states.

I knew you were using your lasers for more than hair removal! You could have just turned the Dyson on if you wanted that smoke effect:)

Well I have a maid. But she comes in just in the mornings, I also have a cat and a dog, and they spread hair all over the house evey single day at all times. I was thinking that a small robot might keep the house cleaner. problem with roomba is that they are TOOOOO expensive to just test them, I have seen other robotic vacuums that cost much less but I don't know if they are any good.

Anyhow, thanks for the advise for now.

So what is a good vacuum, Kirby? I have seen old Kirby legends a few times, these seem pretty awesome and solidly built, if a bit archaic.

Kirby is not a good vacuum for the money. They run forever, but they pick up for shit. They're dirty, they lack any filtration, and a single penny, going through that fan, can send it to the shop for a $75 or more bill.

Riccar, Sebo, Miele, Royal, Sanitaire...these are all good brands, depending on your needs.

thanks SBA. I'll remember that next time I want to buy a vacuum. In my last apartment I bought a p.o.s. dirt devil for ~$35 new, you really do get what you pay for. had to press the head into the carpet and go over it 20 times or so to pick everything up
