(Video Added)The worlds most powerful handheld 445. 3.5W 2 LD array

I'm not sure how deep would be safe. I don't want to give bad info. so I can't say.

But I have heard of people who scuba useing it as a S.O.S signal so ask around.
Ask the company .They should know.

^^^Those lasers from lazerer, o-like or rayfoss are not a good choice for scuba diving. I wouldn't trust them past a few feet underwater if it all.

Research the best underwater flashlights, after that ask someone here to build you a laser in one.

You'r right,
A friend of mine bought a rayfoss for scuba diving and tried it at 6 meter deep and it faild (water went in and made a short)

That's probably because Rayfoss states 5 Meters MAX on
their waterproof Lasers...

I suppose if you drove a tank over it... it would also fail...

I wouldn't even trust them to 5 meters. Bottom line is they aren't really designed for underwater use, it's more a gimmick than anything else.

At most I would consider those lasers water resistant.

A friend of mine purchased a 200mW power rock from o-like ( I told him not to) and I told him that the water proof is really only useful if you don't want to worry about using it in the rain and that actually submerging it in water was a VERY BAD IDEA. Of course he didn't listen, tried using it in his pool and I got a free power rock host :D

Right, my lazerer 100mW green and my 100mW Rayfoss SUPPOSED waterproof lasers died.

There was a link to a company posted by a member who provided TRUE underwater laser. I´m searchin for this thread for near two years now..

just wait till some dude dumps his steroid habit and switched to lasers and he walks around with a bazooka weight "handheld" 40 diode. At least he'd spend less at the tanning salon. "just gotta heatsink it bro!"

I will add some more pics when this is finished, though the unit is already
sold :cryyy:

I have 2 more sets of cylindrical correction optics, and plan on 2 more of
these. I am also working on a lower cost model which uses standard aixiz
glass lenses and no correction.

The output will not be as high without the aspherics, but will bring the
cost down a bit.

As it stands, this laser has more $$ in parts and machining time than any
other of my builds to date..

Congrats, it looks beautiful, I am ready to buy one when you are ready to sell , pls PM me when you are ready to sell ,

Sorry man :o

This morning a forum member send me this thread to my e-mail (because he knows I buy strong stuff) and I opened the thread from my cell phone. Too bad I did not see the date of posting thru the small screen of my cell phone.

But if you reply this message with another useless message , I will start to think you are having your periods and bugging people with another useless message :)

Quoting an old post is not necroposting...

I have Sales Threads that are still going and the 1st
post is almost a year old...:)
