I have a Reke 500, used it for maybe two hours max since getting it. I'm in need of some cash, so if anyone is interested please shoot me a message.

$230 + Shipping & Paypal fees.

Somebody should jump on that--many paid a lot more and with this one there will be no unpleasent surprizes:D

@ IE you have my blessings to jack any thread I ever start:thanks::na:

Re: UPDATED,THE'RE HEERREEE!!!>(*u*)<A better ILDA projector deal than the REKE 500

Unless I am blind today and can't find it in the thread, what are the scanner speeds on these?

its done in 'settings' you need to go there to set up for TTL- medium power- & RGB-- learn how to put up the ILDA test patterns- and use the circle in a square one- try changing the KPPS to 20 then try 25 and go with the one that flickers less and looks better- you may also try 15kpps- IIRC 'settings' is also where you set the size(angle) smaller means less flicker- you can watch that test pattern to see what the changes are doing-- Sorry I did not get that QS to you in time to do all size lessons while waiting for you PJ..

If you have a spare PC run QS & the Linna on one as you go thru the six lessonns(on he other) and try to do everything you see Bill do in the tutorial-at the same time-- once you have it all pretty much down change you learning level to medium and repeat the six lessons then bump the level to the highest and repeat--
by then you should know quite a bit-- best adivce I got was at the Pango forum from Aaron-- he works for Bill so... he had a hand in the creation of the new BEYOND soft which takes te QS up to a new level--the 3D stuff in BEYOND is awesome!!

Re: UPDATED,THE'RE HEERREEE!!!>(*u*)<A better ILDA projector deal than the REKE 500

Is there some trick to this? I spent the last hour trying to align it perfectly and I had it, closed the case up, turned it on, and the blue was somehow off.
I HAVE SOLVED MY ALIGNMENT ISSUE! WARNING!

Okay So I figured out why my alignment was off. When the projector arrived the alignment seemed pretty good (at least I thought) Then it went to crap. Confused I just thought maybe it had not been as great as I first thought? JUST now I moved the projector to a different spot and just ever so slightly bumped the front. All of the sudden my alignment was perfect! Confused I tinkered with it a bit and found that the DICHRO's were mounted to the underside of the projector! After about 10 seconds and a screwdriver I was able to get alignment PERFECT!.

Ss just a warning to anyone who may run into a problem with alignment. If you are going to be moving your projector around like to a party or something. Bring a phillips screwdriver or make sure you locktite those screws!

On a side note, my white balance has drastically improved. This thing is even better then when it got here! I would now give this projector 5/5 :)

Make sure all the screws are tighted down, including those holding the lasers to the plate. It might be going out of alignment when you screw together the enclosure from some pressure on the parts.

Re: UPDATED,THE'RE HEERREEE!!!>(*u*)<A better ILDA projector deal than the REKE 500

If anyone EVER has any problems with alignment or yours is just "slightly" off. I have made a basic guide telling you how to adjust your laser. It's REALLY simple. You will need to put your laser into what I like to call (X Y) Mode. (I don't know what it is actually called.. but you can flip your patterns in this mode if you wish). To get into X Y mode... Push your menu button 5 times and then press enter. This will keep it in the mode and you can work on alignment without a lasershow going on. (Of course you don't need this mode if you can project an ILDA pattern)

If done correctly it should look like this.

Now what you want to do is take the front and top panels off your projector.

Once that is done you can begin alignment. It should not take more than 10 mins TOPS if your projector is somewhat already aligned. Here is an image that tells you what you should be turning. And thats it! Put it all back together and laze away!

So... after all the fuss nobody else is going to post their thoughts on this PJ?

Re: UPDATED,THE'RE HEERREEE!!!>(*u*)<A better ILDA projector deal than the REKE 500

^Still playing with it before I make my judgement call, but so far I love it and I am glad I decided to get into projectors.

Edit: Post #100 :D

Re: UPDATED,THE'RE HEERREEE!!!>(*u*)<A better ILDA projector deal than the REKE 500

Ok...Ok...what am I doing wrong here?
I keep getting an upside down projection from my Linny.
I know I can turn over in QS...but Why?
I got the new Steve Milani show...looks great in the preview window...upside down when projected.
Could it be the cable?...
My projections are fine coming out of the reke500.
I tried to change the orientation with the Linny projector settings...but...when I hook up ilda cable...
Upside down from what's in preview screen.

Of course...otherwise...I am Totaly Satisfied with this Laser...

I don't think buying the reke500 was in any way a mistake.
Technology will always be "The Thing" when it arrives...only to be replaced by the "Next Thing".
Think of it as a stepping stone...It got you to where you are now...
I impressed anyone I showed what the reke could do...but Most Importantly...I impressed my spouse at a friend's birthday party...that she didn't even question when I told her I was upgrading to the Linny.
And She hasn't questioned cost after I projected on the living room ceiling in Auto mode!
I think of the reke as a sweet secondary machine now.

Looks like you have a really good product there! Can't wait to see some pictures and a review from those who purchased it, but it looks like the quality was top notch! +1

Cheers,

Re: UPDATED,THE'RE HEERREEE!!!>(*u*)<A better ILDA projector deal than the REKE 500

Hi all

Thanks for all purchase of LK-PD2.

And it's nice if you can give me your feedback .

Also Linna here can answer questions for you

Best regards /Linna

Linna,
Thank you. You and Len made this a great group buy. This projector has made a very happy customer.

I'll try to get some videos up in the next couple of the days. Those that are on the fence, get off and send Len your money. :) I was blown away by how bright this PJ is. Mine is so close to perfect adjustment, I have no plans to try and tweak it any further. Nice clean white and yellow out of the box.

James
