I just hope I get my 550-650mw 532nm, DHL screwed things here, they lost the manifesto, so the custons can't verify the cargo. My jetlaser is sitting there since 11/04. And they all full of excuses. Because this I ALWAYS ask for FEDEX or Express Mail Service, FEDEX I get the package in 4-5 days. EMS I get the package in 7-10 days. DHL right now: 16 days.

I went and looked again at the laser I bought, and I keep getting more excited! I kind of signed up for the Ti-150 on a spur of the moment thing because I wanted a high quality laser. And I think in this instance, my whim did me good. :D Gah I can't wait!

Hey Regina,
I didnot know you've not received it yet!:( I'm very confused. What on earth does the customs need to "verify' the cargo? Is there anything we can do?

It's all our fault not to ship via Fedex and we didnot expect the difference made by DHL and Fedex is so big!!!!

Hey man, thanks for your patience! The package would be shipped out this weekend and since we're shipping two packages separately, I wonder if you can prepare a 16340(3.7V, similar to CR123a) battery since I'm afraid shipping battery in a big package is still a pain. :yh:

Already have one :D :D :D and I want to thank both you and Len for this Group Buy and the effort yall put out to make sure each one goes well :beer:

EDIT-Actually I don't yet but I can get one, thought at first you meant just a CR123.

2nd EDIT- upon looking at the user manual on your site it would appear that you can use either?

DANG -- that sucks-- hope you get it soon. Waiting is never easy. Hope DHL does better for the GB --

Part 2 Of GB#2 is ongoing- hope to have a nice order for Mr Gray soon after Dec 15th or sooner- we all want to see his new 12X and 445 PL-Cs... and The Ti models- as well. GB#3 if there is to be one will be after the new year.

I will put a sticky note on all Pl-Cs -- + (pos) end of the batt goes to the tailcap just the opposite from a plain flashlight.

I think the driver has reverse pol. protection but dont care to prove that with my PL-C -- ALSO remember the Shutter is there- if your laser seems to look wrong check the shutter!! You can de-focus to a baseball size spot across the room/great for mirror ball. I got a chance at my laser meet to run mine long enough to need a re-charge of the 18650- best guess is with high quality Lighthounds seconds best ones (black)is around 15 min of off and on total use, close in time to my 445 build at 650mWs.

Regina and Gray:

I had this situation with CNI...

What DHL needed from me when they talked about "verification", they needed a form 2877. All they needed was a PDF or JPEG of it and they sent everything along right away; I'm not sure if Gray can supply that though,

'hopefully this will continue in PM'..

Hak: $100 of the (discussed price) for the 600mW IR PL-C coming at you next week after I get back in town.

UPDATE on first box for part one of GB#2-- from Gray today........

SOOOOO barring delays beyond our controll YA'LL should get your lasers on or before Dec 3- DHL does my area after 5 PM so soonest I can reship is the following day-- I will email/PM the tracking#s as soon as Gray sends them to me. So be sure to watch for your individual LPM Photos- a refund of all your $ less our equal share for Express from China to me will be prompltly sent but you will only have that night to make that call.

I will inspect them all closely and there will be NO surprizes except pleasent ones.

REMEMBER + end goes at the tailcap- protect your laser from the effects of gravity/moisture/ dirt /dust etc and NEVER leave it accessable to anyone... with the key on and the tailcap disabled it only takes a very little pressure to turn it on. Max 'on' time i recommended is 3 minutes MAX or when it starts to feel warm if less than 3 min. a rest of 1 min is what I follow. Warranty is void if dropped- left on too long or dismantled- laser can only be returned with previous notification and approval and must be sent in ALL original packages- No shipping costs will be refunded.

you will need to sign for this package upon arrival- it will be insured for $500-- if there appears to be ANY damage to the box you MUST open it in the presence of an USPS employee. which is a good idea even if there is not apparent damage- I do it with UPS_DHL-FedX etc too. If you cannot do this at least take photos of the box BEFORE YOU open it and as you open it too.

MMMKay-- its all in the thread/posts but heres the short version-

you have paid for the laser-

once I send you an inspection report and a LPM photo of your laser you have a chance to ask me to refund all but 14$ and I will try to sell it to another.

If I don't hear from anybody they all get re-shipped the next morning. You still have a warranty with Gray and JETLASERS ---IRRC it is one year.

But it would not cover anything except defects. if your cousin dismantles it or a laser-hater at your party steals it and then leaves it on your porch in pieces-(both happened) plz dont ask Gray or me to help you.. It would be unfair to even ask . It is NOT waterproof- it is not a maglight- It does not have a continous duty cycle. Its retail cost is over $500 for the Pl-C 250 so treat it as such--

plz dont forget to do some kind of review ASAP w/ photos.

a note to JETLASERS about how helpful Gray has been is in order IMHO as well.

ANd if it is not too late...how do I go about getting in on it...the OP was a little confusing...

I just really want an IR filtered, overspec, high quality 532, and this looks like the place to get one!

SORRY- confusion happens!
We split gb#2 into two parts- so those who were ready did not have to wait- & are on the way and GB#2(part 2) is ongoing- limit is 13 lasers- 3 are on the list ATM-
AFAIK there will be a GB#3 early in 2011.

Gray gives out laser info and the GB price
you fwd that info to me
I put you on the list and keep you updated

when we hit 13 units or can no longer wait I close the GB and collect the funds.

The lasers are shipped to me and I re-ship them to you. USA and Canadian buyers only--sorry

US and Canadian buyers- contact Gray(@JETLASERS) for the GB #2 (part 2) price on these-- IIRC I think they are 660$ plus $33 total for all shipping.

PM your price quote to me and I will add you to the list for GB#2.

It has a limit of 13 lasers.

ATM there are iirc 3 on the list now-
Two for arythna and one for another member(maybe DTR)

You can request metering by Gray.
